Girls are underrepresented in Lord of the Flies. That needs to change.

Also, there are no minorities in it. Thats problematic.

I never read the Lord of the Flies and had no desire to because of school.

But now I want to read the "politically incorrect version".

If this were a reverse psychology move to get me to read the book, it'd be a stroke of genius.

Whatever you do, avoid the British black & white 1960's(?) film based on LotF.
Great novel, yet that movie was irritating as buggery.

They're going to have an all-female remake, but the progressives already don't like it:

But the directors can’t go this route either, because Golding already took it by implication. In portraying women as the heroes where men have failed, the directors will be doing something wholly unoriginal, and wholly un-rebellious. And the progressive viewers don’t want to see that.

I heard that the other day they were planning on a remake with an all female cast. Talk about the easiest screen play of all time to write.
