As part of an East Coast trip this Summer, I'm planning a Montreal trip, late-June, early-July. I'm essentially looking for an NYC holiday on a budget: bagels, deli, Little Italy, Chinatown, maybe some techno music.

I really don't know much about Canada. And it's not a game thing. Train from NYC, right?

Any tips? Such as, good pizza there? Foodie destinations? Cheap, clean places to stay for a couple? Things to see? Public transit?
