Yup, Italy is about to get culturally enriched.

What I meant was that Italy might, and will hopefully, soon find itself threatened with expulsion from Schengen too, meaning they will not be able to waive anybody further north.

Thus both Greece and Italy will be incentivized to use their navies to stop and turn back the boats. The only real reason Greece and Italy didn't was because they could just send the dregs north. If that option evaporates, it's nice to sound high and mighty but eventually reality and the angry locals will force you to act.

Merkel may yet scrape by. Of course, she has tons of people she needs to deport.

I think that you're confusing the term "no Schengen border-free travel" (Germany, Austria, Sweden) with "secure national borders" (Hungary). There is a massive divide between the two, a divide which I shall name "The Cuck Border" ™.

In the cuck border model, police is very rigid and attentive at official border crossings, but doesn't actually control any other part of the border. This means that any number of migrants can simply walk past the official crossing. Thus cuck border is only a mild inconvenience at best, and punishes only legal travellers at worst. That is exactly what has happened in Croatia during October.

The migrant inflow can't be stopped by declaring that a border exists and looking up some passports (i.e. just by turning off the Schengen zone). They only things that would work are:

A) brute force - i.e. fence + army authorized to shoot -> ends access
B) turning off the gravy train - i.e. no welfare whatsoever for anyone illegal -> ends motivation
Libertas · 2016-01-27 09:44:00 · #7203
They're talking about putting a fence along the entire Greek border though, at least it seemed, and Macedonia's and other country's border controls are limiting the influx. Not like Hungary, but not what it was. From what I read, Slovenia, Austria, and others have essentially barricaded all but the official crossing points.

If Italy and Greece can't send them further north, they'd be incentivized to send their navies to stop and turn back the boats.

Right. This is basically the border-equivalent of "Refugees rape women, Merkel orders penises of German men to be chopped off to stem the rapes."

Here's a clip from the BBC from June 2015, of what the truck drivers have to put up with on their trips from Dover to Calais and back.
It's about as close to 'balanced' as you're going to get from the BBC.
There's the usual dwelling on the "poor desperate refugees" and picking out the most polite, most soft spoken, articulate migrants with the best English to try and give us the impression they're all like that (sadly the average person watching the clips won't have any idea of how they're being deceived by this particular trick).
But at least they also give a couple of the Northern Irish drivers a good hearing about what they have to put up with, there's at least some semblance of showing how much grief these invaders are inflicting on normal working class people going about their daily work.
Not to mention the havoc these ingrates are increasingly causing in Calais itself and surrounding areas (but that's another story).
Incidentally, that blonde would have most likely been raped had she not had her camera team with her, something that she was probably completely oblivious of with her naïve idealism.

A 17-year-old girl who was physically and sexually attacked in Sønderborg will herself face charges for using pepper spray to fend off her assailant.

Danish women report harassment by refugees (13 Jan 16)
The teenager told police that she was attacked in central Sønderborg on Wednesday at around 10pm by an English-speaking man in dark clothing. She said the man knocked her to the ground and then unbuttoned her pants and attempted to undress her.

The girl was able to save herself from further assault by using pepper spray on the attacker, but now she may be the one who ends up in legal trouble.

“It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely be charged for that,” local police spokesman Knud Kirsten told TV Syd.

The case has sparked a backlash among some Danes who point to increasing reports of sexual harassment in Sønderborg and other Danish cities at the same time that police say they are stretched too thin to properly carry out their duties.

Numerous readers wrote in the comments section on TV Syd’s story about the incident that they would be willing to pay the girl’s fine, which will most likely be 500 kroner.

The man who attacked the 17-year-old fled from the scene and has not been charged.

Sexual assaults have been in the news in Sønderborg recently after several women in the town reported earlier this month that they sometimes feel harassed by the aggressive behaviour of some male asylum seekers and refugees at the local asylum centre.

It is not known, however, if the assailant in this latest incident was an asylum seeker or refugee.

In related news, a nightclub in Sønderborg is now barring guests from entering if they cannot speak Danish, English or German. Other Danish nightclubs are also reportedly considering similar moves.

My native Denmark has almost as many fucking moronic laws as Sweden.

On the positive side it's a more right leaning country - and currently has a mid-right government - much more willing to implement at least some measures to try to lower immigration (first refusing to take the EU proposed quota of invaders, and now new laws that let them seize valuables from invaders and delay family importation for up to three years - obviously being labeled things like "nazi-like" by foreign media), but on the other hand if things really go south and people need to arm themselves, it's not much of a hunting nation - unlike Sweden and Norway - so there won't be a lot of rifles lying around among the citizens, you can't really buy most types of knives (although a large kitchen knife is obviously always an option) or other close combat weapons and while there has been recent talk about legalizing pepper spray it still can't be purchased.

But if the Danes arm themselves before multi-nation spanning civil wars begin, at least there's still Amazon or a trip across the border to (of all places) Germany.

I think I'll stay here in Bulgaria if things truly go catastrophically south for Europe (assuming I would even have a choice of traveling back in such a situation) - my family in Denmark is large and many living in the same town, so hopefully they can take care of each other.
More liberal weapons laws here in Bulgaria (been reading up on the local gun permit laws, sounds a lot like getting one of those is a far fetched option for a foreigner who doesn't speak much of the language yet - but at least you can buy knives, machetes, pepper spray, batons, bows, crossbows to your heart's content) and much larger forests and mountain regions to disappear into.

Mike, Denmark is a lost cause, get your family ready to move somewhere else.

Denmark is too small to survive, there is nowhere to run. Sweden though hard hit is massive, very easy to escape to the countryside.

Denmark will go down hard, because the number of traiterous leftists is so large there.

Muslim slavery isn't the recent past it's still ongoing. Just look at all the gulf arab countries.

The best example is Mauritania:

Quote:In 1981, Mauritania became the last country in the world to abolish slavery, when a presidential decree abolished the practice. However, no criminal laws were passed to enforce the ban.
In 2007, "under international pressure", the government passed a law allowing slaveholders to be prosecuted.
Despite this, the number of slaves in the country has been estimated by the organization SOS Slavery to be up to 600,000 (or 17% of the population), and by Global Slavery Index to be at least 140,000 (or 4% of the population).
Sociologist Kevin Bales and Global Slavery Index estimate that Mauritania has the highest proportion of people in slavery of any country in the world.
While other countries in the region have people in "slavelike conditions", the situation in Mauritania is "unusually severe", according to African history professor Bruce Hall.

The position of the government of Mauritania is that slavery is "totally finished ... All people are free", and talk of it "suggests manipulation by the West, an act of enmity toward Islam."

(...)

Slave status has been passed down through the generations. The descendants of black Africans captured during historical slave raids now live in Mauritania as "black Moors" or haratin, some of them still serve as slaves to the lighter-skinned "white Moors" or Beydanes, (Berbers or mixed Berber-Arabs, descendants of slave-owners known collectively as al-bidhaan).

According to Global Slavery Index, slavery of adults and children in Mauritania "primarily takes the form of chattel slavery" (i.e. the slaves and their descendants "are the full property of their masters").
Slaves "may be bought and sold, rented out and given away as gifts."

Slavery in Mauritania is "prevalent in both rural and urban areas", but women are reportedly "disproportionately affected" by slavery. Women slaves "usually work within the domestic sphere", caring for children and doing domestic chores, but "may also herd animals and farm." Women slaves "are subject to sexual assault by their masters". Because slave status is matrilineal, slaves typically serve the same families that their mothers and grandmothers did. They usually sleep and eat in the same quarters as the animals of their owning families.

Slaves are "not restrained by chains" but by "economic" and "psychological" factors. They are denied education in secular fields that provide job skills, and taught that "questioning slavery is tantamount to questioning Islam".

There is also a "grey area" or "a continuum" between slavery and freedom in Mauritania—referred to politely as the “vestiges of slavery”—where sharecroppers and workers are exploited by Beydane landowners and bosses. According to Ahmed Vall Ould Dine, of Mauritanian Human Rights Watch, "Slaves tend to develop very close relations with their masters; the freed ones, who are poor and have inherited nothing from their parents, chose to remain under the auspices of their ex-masters as they provide them with basic necessities of life."

As some people know, the World Cup was sadly awarded to Qatar in 2022 because of their blatant bribery of FIFA. Since then they have been basically kidnapping workers from India & Nepal in their khalifa system of indentured servitude and using slave labor to construct stadiums and entire cities there.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/20...worse.html

"“Difficult conditions” doesn’t begin to describe what’s occurring to workers here. A 2014 report from the International Trade Union Confederation projected that “at least 4,000 people in total will die before the start of the World Cup in 2022.”"

That number potentially represents a serious underestimation, given that it was derived from “statistics collected by two embassies only—Nepal and India—which account for around 5% of the total migrant workforce.”

The report also makes it clear that “Whether the cause of death is labeled a work accident, heart attack (brought on by the life threatening effects of heat stress) or diseases from squalid living conditions, the root cause is the same—working conditions.”

The first-person accounts in the report are the stuff of nightmares. And yet, this indentured servitude is entirely legal under Qatar’s kafala system, in which an employer has near-total control over the lives of the migrant workers that are fed false promises regarding living conditions, nonexistent safety protocols, wages, and length of employment, and can be kept enslaved by withholding both salaries and passports.

“We have worked hard and just want what is due to us and to go home,” one worker said. “We are stuck now in cramped accommodations, with poor food and no clean drinking water. We are treated like animals.”

A construction manager describes arriving for work “at 5:00 a.m. and there was blood everywhere. I don't know what happened, but it was covered up with no report. When I reported this, I was told that if I didn't stop complaining, I would be dismissed.”

Gurung knows all too well that “nothing will change for migrant workers until FIFA and its rich sponsors insist on it. These are the people who are bringing the World Cup to Qatar. But we are a small, poor country and these powerful organisations are not interested in listening to us.”

Not sure if this one has already been posted, but even the kids are getting involved in the European refugee crime wave!

TL;DR

*15 year old Somali kid killed 22 year old female social worker at shelter for refugee children.

*Kid is being tried as an adult, as the age of adult culpability in Sweden is 15.

* No reference to the religion of the Somali child (I'm going to go with Jedi Knight?), but the article was happy to point out the murdered woman was a Christian with Lebanese parents.

*Not sure how there could be so many unaccompanied children heading to Europe without some sort of non-government related support network, (e.g. relatives already living in Europe).

Swedish police demand more cash to stem rising violence in the country

The migrant teenager arrested on suspicion of stabbing to death a young Swedish social worker at a shelter for refugee children is from Somalia, one of her colleagues has revealed.

Alexandra Mezher, 22, was working on a night shift alone with ten teenagers when she was attacked at the home for unaccompanied young refugees in Mölndal, near Gothenburg. She later died of her injuries in hospital.

Details of the 15-year-old boy being held by murder detectives come as Miss Mezher's family blamed Sweden's migration crisis for her death.

Chiméne Mezher, 42, today told how she had lost her 'angel', as a cousin said: 'It is the Swedish politicians' fault that she is dead.'

Sweden is one of the main destinations for refugees and migrants entering the EU and police warn they cannot cope with the tide of migrant-related crime.

Paying tribute to her 'angel', her mother wept: 'She was my air, she was my everything, why her?'

'She was a just and fair human being. There were so many who loved her. She was my daughter, my friend.. my mate,' Mrs Mezher said.

Miss Mezher's best friend-of-eight-years Lejla Filipovic, 22, also paid tribute to the young social worker today, saying the pair were like sisters.

'She was so goodhearted, she wanted to do so much in life,' she said adding that she had sometimes worried that Miss Mezher was putting herself at risk.

'I know that some of the kids aren't in a good place right now, because they came without their parents, so sometimes I was worried, but I knew that she had good co-workers.'

The tributes came as Swedish police announced that the Somali boy accused of murdering Miss Mezher will stand trial as an adult.

The teenager remains in custody, an unusual step as youngsters are normally sent to a secure children’s home following arrest.

However, police told MailOnline they had made the decision to keep the teenager behind bars due to the serious nature of the crime and the public outrage follow the brutal knife killing Miss Mezher.

The incident comes amid rising tensions over migration in Sweden. The number of threats and violent incidents at asylum facilities doubled between 2014 and 2015.

Earlier this week, Stockholm police warned that the capital's main train station is 'overrun' by gangs of Moroccan street children, who are 'stealing and groping girls' and have called for more resources to cope.

Today, Prime minister Stefan Lofven admitted that many people are fearful of attacks similar to the killing of Miss Mezher, because 'Sweden receives so many children and youths arriving alone'.

Sweden accepted more than 160,000 asylum seekers in 2015, more than any other EU state per capita.

Alexandra, of Lebanese Christian origin, lived with her parents Boutros, 46, and Chiméne Mezher, and her two younger brothers in Borås, some 40 miles from Molndal.

Her father came to Sweden from Beirut, Lebanon, in 1989 and her mother moved there three years later.

It has now emerged that Miss Mezher had been working alone at the housing in Mölndal, which is home to ten unaccompanied minors.

Despite rules that the staff should work in pairs, Miss Mezher had been working a night shift all by herself and was attacked just half an hour before daytime staff were due to take over, it is claimed.

A colleague speaking on condition of anonymity said that staff had previously complained about having to work alone overnight.

'Everyone cried and someone said that this was something we had brought up before, that no one should work alone.'

A spokesperson for HBV Living Nordic AB, which runs several care facilities for unaccompanied minors in the surrounding area, told the paper the rotas followed government guidelines.

Police said Miss Mezher was stabbed shortly before 8am on Monday by a boy, who was then apprehended by other youths living at the centre.

She was taken to Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg, but died later on Monday as a result of her injuries.

Officers discovered a knife at the scene and the teenager has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Swedish police have today praised the actions of the other children living in the facility, hailing them 'heroes' after they overpowered the boy after he attacked Miss Mezher.

'Two boys held him down. It is a very good intervention. Had he intended to hurt anyone else, then they have prevented that,' said police spokesperson Peter Adlersson.

'It is easy to become injured yourself when intervening in this kind of situation. We are very grateful for these kinds of actions.'

Miss Mezher had only worked at the centre in Mölndal for a few months.

It is is home to ten unaccompanied children aged 14-17, who arrived in Sweden seeking asylum without a parent or a guardian and has provoked unrest.

Neighbourhood-watch groups have reportedly been sent out to prevent teenage girls from being sexually harassed on their way home from the commuter trains from Gothenburg.

Parents have also spoken out against having their children in the same classes as the immigrants.

But Miss Mezher, a psychology graduate from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, was driven by a strong desire to do good, and was fascinated by theories examining why some people commit crime.

She had completed a three-year course in social science for communication and learning and called her dissertation, 'The road to non criminal - a lifestyle change'.

Written with another student, she researched the factors which help offenders break from a life of crime.

It concludes that to make a lifestyle change and be able to break a delinquent behaviour, 'social workers need to build trust in relationships'.

Miss Mezher's cousin said: 'It is so terrible. She was a person who wanted to do good, who wanted to be good.

'And then he murdered her when she was doing her job. We have cried a lot. She was such a nice person, warm and happy.'

Miss Mezher was reportedly planning to return to university to do a masters degree in social science.

The stabbing occurred on the same day as police in Sweden demanded more resources to stem rising violence apparently linked to the migrant crisis.

Police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg, who refused to reveal details of the murder suspect's nationality, said: 'These kinds of calls are becoming more and more common.

'We're dealing with more incidents like these since the arrival of so many more refugees from abroad.'

National Police Commissioner Dan Eliasson requested 4,100 additional officers and support staff to help fight against terrorism, carry out migrant deportations and police asylum facilities.

He said: 'We are forced to respond to many disturbances in asylum reception centres. In some places, this takes significant police resources.

'This was not the case six months ago and it means that we won't be able to respond as effectively in other areas.

Also weighing on police resources are border controls introduced on January 4 and a higher national terrorist threat level after the Paris attacks in November.

'Many of the problems we are now facing help to prove the point that Swedish police have long been underfunded and under-staffed,' police union director Lena Nitz, told TT.

'It is obvious that the migrant situation is a great strain. It has become clear that the situation is completely unsustainable.'

The police request for more resources comes as greater attention is being focused on allegations of violence by young migrants across Europe, with some countries expressing doubt about their ability to integrate them into society.

Like the rest of Europe, Sweden has been struggling with the continent's biggest migration crisis since World War II.

A country of 9.8 million, Sweden took in more than 160,000 asylum seekers in 2015, the highest number of refugees and migrant arrivals per capita in the EU.

Out of the 160,000 who applied for asylum, 35,369 were unaccompanied minors.

Trump triggers Eurocucks and shitlibs

Trump Finds New City to Insult: Brussels
Quote:He incensed Paris and London by saying that some of their neighborhoods were so overrun with radicals that the police were too scared to enter.

He raised Scottish tempers by threatening to pull the plug on his investments there, including his luxury golf courses, if British politicians barred him from entering Britain.

Now Donald J. Trump has upset the already beleaguered people of Belgium, calling its capital, Brussels, “a hellhole.”

Asked by the Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo about the feasibility of his proposal to bar foreign Muslims from entering the United States, Mr. Trump argued that Belgium and France had been blighted by the failure of Muslims in these countries to integrate.

“There is something going on, Maria,” he said. “Go to Brussels. Go to Paris. Go to different places. There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that — you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on.”

Warming to his theme, he added that Brussels was in a particularly dire state. “You go to Brussels — I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful — it’s like living in a hellhole right now,” Mr. Trump continued.

For Belgians, already reeling from recent terrorist plots and a chronically dysfunctional government, Mr. Trump’s words were enough to induce a fit of pique worthy, in some cases, of Mr. Trump himself.

Before long, the hashtag #hellhole was gaining traction on Twitter as Belgians lashed out at Mr. Trump, deploying an arsenal of insults, irony and humor, including images of Belgium’s beloved beer and chocolate.

One Twitter user posted a picture of Mr. Trump with what appeared to be a Belgian waffle stuffed in his mouth.

“This is my hellhole,” Joseph Lemaire, a Brussels-based public relations consultant, posted on Twitter, along with several photos, including one showing the capital’s central square, the Grand Place or Grote Markt, which is flanked by stately 17th-century buildings from the city’s prosperous mercantile days.

Another Twitter user, called BerlayCat, posted an image of a gang of cats playing the drums in the Grand Place. “This is not Brussels hellhole,” the user wrote — a reference to “This Is Not a Pipe,” the title of a painting by the Belgian Surrealist master René Magritte.

A Twitter user using the name Berlaymonster (Berlaymont is the headquarters complex of the European Commission in Brussels) posted what appeared to be a modified version of the Wikipedia entry for Dante’s “Inferno.” The list of chapters showed Limbo, Lust and Gluttony. The fourth chapter? Brussels.

Belgium has come under scrutiny for failing to tame growing radicalization. Éric Zemmour, a French writer, recently suggested in an interview that rather than bombing the Islamic State’s self-declared capital of Raqqa, Syria, France should bomb Molenbeek, the working-class district in Brussels where several of the Paris attackers lived.

Most Belgian officials reacted with quiet defiance. “We don’t react to Mr. Trump’s comments,” the office of Mayor Yvan Mayeur of Brussels said in an email. “Have a nice day.”

Rudi Vervoort, the president of the Brussels region, said through his spokeswoman that he was surprised by Mr. Trump’s words. “We can reassure the Americans that Brussels is a multicultural city where it is good to live,” said the spokeswoman, Leonôr da Silva, listing the city’s virtues: green spaces, a tolerant culture and its central place in Europe.

Jean-Philippe Schreiber, a historian at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, said Mr. Trump was stirring up xenophobia. Brussels has its problems, he added, but Mr. Trump’s “hyperbolic” comments were not worthy of a response.

Indeed, Belgians could be forgiven for their sense of wounded pride. First, there is the beer, the galaxy of Michelin starred-restaurants, and a thriving design and art scene. Brussels also hosts its beloved Manneken Pis, a 17th-century bronze statue of a little boy urinating.

Channeling Mr. Trump’s provocative swagger, Mark Meirsman, a Belgian who works for the European Parliament, but who emphasized that he was writing in his personal capacity, wrote on Facebook that Mr. Trump should stand next to the Manneken Pis the next time he finds himself in Brussels (though not, Mr. Meirsman stressed, as president).

“Thank you for insulting the population of an entire European city. My city!” Mr. Meirsman wrote. “O.K., maybe it’s not the cleanest one, the best organized one but a hellhole?”

Almost seems like that sign should have an arabic translation on it, like how we have mexican translation on everything around here.

There is just no hope for Sweden. If a person of authority can directly tell the people he supposedly serves that they deserve to be murdered and violent riots and assassination attempts don't erupt right away, then it's truly over.

Goodbye Sweden. Just look at this comment:

Quote:Most Swedes, me included, are proud that we look beyond branding people evil, which is ridiculous. No one is born a criminal. Things happen, bad things happen, people do bad stuff, but evil is not some tangible immutable thing. Well said Eliasson. Hopefully the boy gets the help he needs, and the woman's family get all the support they need. One doesn't exclude the other. Hail humanism!

As for that London youth elections image, someone should stick it in the RIP London thread.
