Because you don't own anything that you upload to Facebook. Facebook isn't the 'Public Domain' so if you put a picture up there Facebook has ownership and thus the media has to make acknowledgement of that.

CONRAD: Is it too late? I don’t know. It’s already light outside. I’m gonna go back too sleep. Love you. I’ll text you tomorrow.

CARTER: No. It’s probably the best time now because everyone is sleeping. Just go somewhere in your truck and no one is really out there right now because it’s an awkward time. If you don’t do it now you’re never gonna do it, and you can say you’ll do it tomorrow, but you probably won’t. Tonight? Love you.

CARTER: For what. Are you awake?

CONRAD: Okay. I’m taking Holly for a walk.

CONRAD: I don’t know why I’m like this.

CARTER: Sometimes things happen and we never have the answers why.

CONRAD: Like, why am I so hesitant lately. Like two weeks ago I was willing to try everything and now I’m worse, really bad, and I’m LOL not following through. It’s eating me inside.

CARTER: You’re so hesitant because you keeping over thinking it and keep pushing it off. You just need to do it, Conrad. The more you push it off, the more it will eat at you. After the exchange of these messages, Michelle left her house and talked with Conrad for 43 minutes. According to the court documents, at some point during that call, Conrad got out of the car because he got scared, but Michelle told him to get back in. His body was found in his pickup truck after his parents reported him missing.

On the day of Conrad’s murder, Michelle was already seeking for attention on Twitter: “Such a beautiful soul gone too soon.” A little later she added: “I’ll always remember your bright light and smile. You’ll forever be in my heart, I love you Conrad.” She even organized a suicide prevention fundraiser in his name. When the allegations of involuntary manslaughter were laid out, her Twitter account disappeared. You can still see some of it using The Internet Archive.



This is the first time such a case has ever been tried worldwide. She’s now 18 and is being prosecuted as an adult, charged with involuntary manslaughter.

This article frightened me because it almost happened to me when I was that same age -long time ago in Toronto -- dealing with a stupid Toronto girl. Luckily for me I worked through my depression by travelling Europe -- where my plan was to commit suicide after I visited the different countries. But while on the train station in zurich, Switzerland waiting for a train going to Italy, I met a Indian monk - who convinced me to go with him to a family's house where he was staying. There he taught me how to meditate and do yoga for the weekend - and to make a long story short -- he ended up saving my life -- who I am truly grateful for. When I returned to Toronto, I met that same girl who called me and invited me for a drink. After meeting her, I started to see through her very manipulated, ugly mind -- and when she realized this, she almost turned into a ghost and pretty well ran away from me in a polite way. I hate that bitch still to this day - 20 years later.

Sadly that particular part of your story above reminds me of many western princesses I've met, especially ones through online dating. Usually it was "ugly inside, ugly outside". Never had rudeness from an 8, 9, or 10.

What a fucking waste of a man's life. Looking at his photo, he's a good looking guy at that young age. Given a few years, a bit of time at the gym and a bit more life experience, he could have had a decent life. Ultimately, it was his decision to take his own life. But judging from the transcript, he had a lot of doubts, and there is a good reason he wouldn't have done it if not for this straw haired witch.

The scary and most disturbing fact in all this is that at the of it, the girl still thinks she didn't do any wrong. If anything, she is being vilified for being a helpful friend in assisting him in all this.
