Not much.

i hooked up with a Norwegian girl in the Loki hostel and the next day i met a peruvian girl through couchsurfing and i stayed with her for four days. We did go out a few times but i dont remember the names of the clubs. The attractiveness of peruvian girls was dissapointing except for the one i was banging.

i found that Lima/miraflores was very expensive and dissapointing.

I'm in quito, Ecuador now and im way more enthousiastic about it than Lima. Quito is great, clubs are packed with hot girls. i already pulled and kissed a few others. Last night i looked around and didnt see any girl which i didnt want to fuck. way more girls than guys at the beginning of the night.
Clubs are very cheap, its 2 dollars for a bottle of beer, no covercharge, taxis and food are also dirt cheap here.
I love this place. i might even write a datasheet about it if theres no one already.
Maybe the girls are so fucking hot here because its close to Colombia

Quito was sort of crappy 10 years ago but it sounds like it has gotten better.

What are the best bars in Mariscal Sucre now? other areas of town worth a look now?

Can you walk around Mariscal Sucre without getting mugged now? heard it is pretty safe.

Clubs i visited 4 times now, Nobar and bungalow, both packed with hot girls.

Ecuadorian girls are flaky though.
I feel very safe although there a lots of shady characters around, lots of police also. i havnet explored any other party areas yet but i stay in a no tourist part now. will have to think about writing a datasheet, dont have much time lately and heading for cali colombia.

I agree. The main racism comes from the upper class elite, that normally hang out in the "zona rosas." This tends to happen a lot more in Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia.. to a much smaller extent Brazil and Colombia...

And I'm guessing when you went to Peru, you were hanging out in a lot of upper class places. These upper class people are very snobby, and racist. You're right if you're not white, and not known to be rich you will be excluded.

Unfortunately this attitude of the elites even trickles down to the middle class in some cases. I've seen mestizo Latino's be racist against other Latinos who have more indigenous blood, or just because they have less money/status.

Probably not worth your time if you're not the type of guy who's willing to hang out in more modest middle class maybe even Upper-lower-class places. I think you just have to find the right blue collar venues...

Mixx if you ever want to go back, I'd say you can do the above, and try to go middle class. OR you can try a gmanifesto 007 type of move and suite up every time yo go out to an Upper class place (don't pull up in a taxi), and say your some rich mofo or some powerful person from another country... Throw around a bit a of cash, maybe get to this place with a hot white Peruvian chick on your arm, pay for an escort if needed to accompany you on the first few nights, just to get some social proof, and get your foot in the door. Maybe that's too much trouble... would make for a good blog post on the gmanifesto though...

The most important thing you can do in Lima aside from learning a little Spanish is to get a local cell number. I bought a cheap local cell phone ($30) from Claro. Also if you are going to be in Lima for 10 days I would recommend getting an apartment, (try apartmentclubperu), cheaper than a hotel and you have more freedom. Some hotels have no guest policy or charge per guest so inquire about this before you book. This hotel I stayed at required my female friend to have an ID (most regular girls dont always carry an ID), at 2AM we had to to take a cab back to her house, get her ID and come back to the hotel. Annoying.

Check out Club Voce. Big megaclub, cheaper prices than the Lacromar clubs and hundreds of middle class Peruanas. Bar Bierhaus was packed with 20 year olds. Flying Dog hostel bar had a really fun raucous mix of people, local and tourist. Do the "lucid lima bar crawl" if you want to meet other tourists. You need current local intel as good nites change often, especially outside of Miraflores. I went to a bar in Lince on a Sat nite b/c it was hot on Friday to find it almost completely empty. Get in with a gaggle of fun girls and let them lead you to the local spots, they will inevitably take to a no cover, cheap drink, girl crowded spot--that's what happened to me!

Headed to Lima tonight then onto Cusco with a solid wing man...Doing Macchu Picchu and a few others things while I'm there...Anyone know the popping/upscale spots in Lima these days? Looking for the more upscale or middle class places because when I'm in Large Latin American Capitals (Bogota, Quito) I tend to do better at those type of spots. I will be suited down as well both nights in Lima tonight & next Saturday Night before heading home. Looking forward to hearing recommendations and IF you have any Cusco Info lay it out as well.

Ok so far....

Lima was decent went to Barranco Bar and came up on some nice Afro-Peruvian Chicks...on this trip I'm experimenting doing the hostel thing with my boy. We stayed at The Point Hostel in Barranco...cool spot but the chicks were severly lacking and doing beer pong just isn't my thing. The talent in Barranco Bar was so so...nothing compared to Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina or Brasil in South America. A lot of weak looking chicks IMO. It was a Sunday Night so we'll see what's good next Friday and Saturday.

Here in Cusco now and its severly lacking in local talent...a lot of inca looking chicks. If that's your thing have at it but they aren't hot at all to me. The few euro blondies are game and me and my boy have been working on chicks from ireland and holland for the most part. The clubs play american music and have gotten away from the peruvian salsa and criolla music that I heard in Lima which was much better. To me Cusco strictly a spiritual trip...focusing on Macchu Picchu and getting back to Lima on Friday...Nightlife is wack here and non authentic too touristy.

Honestly I don't see how some of you guys do hostels all the time. Apartments and couchsurfing is a much better options. If you don't have the dough to spend and rolling solo investing the time in a cs profile is the way to go. The hostel bars are corny as hell with beer pong and wack music and lame broke travelers. I can't wait to check into the JW Marriott in Miraflores-Lima this Friday an get G'd up again and hit more upscale and middle colass authentic spots.

I think you would have more fun in a more reggeaton ass grinding shaking place with girls dressed like sluts then the more reserved upscale spots.

I suspect the gels will be more DTF also. The Peruvian girl that was on this board awhile back showed me some clips of some crazy clubs were the chicks were getting freak nasty! It was def a poorer younger crowd. Looked like alot if fun to me.

Good Looking out Dash...I'm definitely more into Reggaeton and Salsa and Real House Music than hearing "party people in the house tonight" and various songs like that all night. Seems like they are trying to hard in Cusco...I'm definitely out to Lima on Friday and concentrating my efforts and getting my spirituality on there.

Cusco is really easy to meet cute, young, girls. Go to Mama Africas around 11pm on a Friday or Saturday and take your pick before all the other gringos show up. Music is a mix between commercial dance / pop and reggaeton, all 3 are awful but the girls like it.

Well I was there on a Monday so maybe that was the problem...I don't like commerical dance/pop either rather Salsa and Reggaeton especially when I'm in a LATIN COUNTRY...Here in Maccu Picchu now and It's beautiful here...Going to kick back for a few days and rest before heading back to Cusco then back to Lima. Mama Africas is called something different now BTW. I just think the clubs are very corny in Cuzco and the Backpacker type of chick doesn't interest me and they are there in abundance. Not talent rich at all...Just not my scene but could be for others. Going to a CS meeting on Wednesday so hopefully I can find some Salsa spots in Cuzco for Thursday Night but I doubt It.

@KOS- What time of year were you in Cusco? Maybe the North American/European summer time is better time for swooping than now. I'm not really tripping either way just going to get my adventure on, White Water Raft and Site see before I focus my efforts fully in Lima this weekend.

Reggaeton is dreadful too IMO but if it gets girls dancing I'll put up with it. Monday night I'm not sure would be good in Cusco anywhere but I don't know for sure. Basically any club around the Plaza De Arms is likely to be plagued with other gringos most nights which is not my scene either. When you say you're in Machu Picchu now, you mean Aguas Calientie? Not much happening in that town from what I saw. MP is incredible, we walked up from Aguas early morning in the dark then climbed up Wyna Picchu afterwards (was in February so Inca Trail was closed). Out of this world. The couchsurf scene doesn't seem overly huge in Cusco, I actually instigated a midweek meet up last time round, apparently they meet every now and again but not weekly. Arranged to meet a local girl from the meetup at the weekend when I got back from MP and it resulted in a hook up. You might even meet her tonight.

Which day is the Afternoon Party Scipio? I will be there Friday through Sunday. Just came back from Macchu Picchu today and climbed WaynaPicchu (Bigger Mountain) and it was amazing. Hot Springs and the tour was great as wel. The trip was worth it alone for that. Me and my wing chatted up a lot of tight girls from Argentina, Chile and Germany and they will be in Cusco for one more night so hopefully we can pull something off. Going White Water Rafting tomorrow so called it a early night...Went to a CS party a few decent girls then after went to Mythology but pretty much the same wackness along with InkaTerra, Mushrooms, And Leak. If you are used to high quality women this is not the place to be. But If you are into banging mostly 5 and below have at it. The Salsa Music is played from 9pm-11pm with classes then after that it's the Pop Music all night.

So me and my wingman went white water rafting yesterday and immediately chicks from Israel, Australia and Denmark started choosing up during the two hour exursion, sauna, zip lining and lunch after.

I'm starting to believe that meeting chicks on exursions like this and macchu picchu and salsa classes are the best way bto go about it for Cusco vs just nightclub game.

The fine blonde Aussie chick was on me and we made plans to hook up later and my boy made plans with the blue eyed 20 y/o from denmark for later. We already had a double dated lined up with two chicks from Canada (one korean & one finnish) that we met touring macchu picchu but the plan was to bring them all together in the end to create competition with them and the plan worked out to a tee!

Met the first set from canda indigo bar...really cool spot, nice music and hookah and thai food in a private booth & they both started to choose up & get cozy with us and we both made out with our chicks...but we had dates at 10pm with the aussie and danish set so we met them in plaza armas with the canadian ones and hit up 7 angels which had really good reggae music and strong drinks. Tons of girls in there as well and since we were already with 4 chicks in there were grabbing my hand as I went to the bar to see what was up and it was some nice looking euro and peruvian girls in that joint and more lowkey than the plaza de armas vibe.

The venue change helped to change the mood and I was rotating the danish, ausse and finnish chick to see which one was going home with me along with my boy. Keeping the mood light and flirting with all of them really kept the girls on their toes. Then we hit a local place in the hood which was cool but the locals were mad aggressive like they never seen fly white girls before...lol. they were buying us beers all night but after about 30 minutes the dudes were like sharks so we got outta there...

We then went to Lek for a few free drinks then onto Mythology and as soon as we stepped in the door the DJ put a West Coast Music set on...The Next Episode dropped and it WAS A WRAP! The girls we were with were all over us and attracted a lot of attention from other chicks there because we basically had a cypher in the middle of the floor...then California Love came on and a slew of other joints...Great how music can set the mood and can enhance an already great night.

After this me and my boy decided to take the dane and aussie to a love motel and the Canadian girls got the message and went home. The funny thing is that we switched the chicks off in the club with the danish chick getting on me and my boy on the aussie girl...These girls were working it on the dance floor and we made out with the several times before calling it a night.

It was CRAZY how those dudes in the club were envious of us walking out with those hotties, even the little kids outside the club were running up to the girls saying "mi esposa"..lol. The dudes that they knew from the hostel were asking us..."Where are you going with them"? And all types of handcuffing until we whisked them away in the taxis to bang them good for the night. Even the tour guides from the rafting company were trying to get them to stay at the club. Hilarious and extremely desperate. Which I can understand because both chicks had banging bodies and were very cute...Solid 8 on my scale...

So in summary Cusco can be a great place. Especially with all the activities in and around the place. You need to meet girls on the excursions, museums or salsa classes from 9-11 at all the clubs near plaza de armas. The nightlife picks up at the clubs after 2am and I think Thursday-Saturday are the best nights because we tried on the weekday and it was DEAD. So if you are there on the weekday just stick to excursions and salsa to line up a pipeline of girls.

Off to Lima for the weekend!

I feel you on walking around or going out with hot blonde / western girls. The local men in LA are like a pack of hyenas!

Almost to the point where you are 90% certain you are gonna get into a fight. I experience this EVERY TIME I hangout with good looking girls from the hostel. I couldnt imagine dealing with that if I was just girls alone if they are being that aggressive with another male with them.

Trust me guys, you will VERY rarely see girls like that in Peru. I spent 3 weeks there and went to some pretty good spots and there were for sure girls in that video way better looking than any peruana I saw there the whole time. Seriously, real good looking girls in Peru are few and far between. Shit, it's hard to come across decent looking girls, but smoke shows like the ones on that video, forget it. Those girls probably have rich families and only go the the most exclusive parties. Peru just isn't worth it when it comes to women. Trust me, before I went to Peru I thought, "I've seen some pretty good looking Peruvian girls here in America, they seem to look good in general." But I was sorely disappointed once I got there.

I'm so on the fence about Lima cause of reports like these..... I herd the same things about Davao, and for the most part it was true. There was not a ton of jaw dropping chicks but there was A LOT of young pantie dropping chicks. Plus everything was cheap and everyone was nice and everyone was interested in me. I dont regret going to Davao at all... shit I would love to go back sometime. I guess in reality there are better places in South America to go to get your fix with chicks..... I just always liked to picture Lima as the Davao of SA.
