The memes and images for Netflix/Chill crack me up. I've been running 'Netflix/Chill' game for a long time (with mixed results) without even knowing it (i.e. "come over for a movie tonight"). The whole proposition for her to come over for 'Netflix' is usually a farce, and when girls agree- they pretty much know the deal.

Recently tried to subtly run this on a new online prospect:

Her: By watching an indie movie?
Me: indeed. i'm backed up on the flix
Her: We will be watching this movie on the flix?
Me: a lot of titles I wanna see- wbu
Her: I was thinking more movie theater but I have no idea what's out

"Netflix and chill" is more of a pop culture meme more than anything else now. It's now blatantly obvious and it shouldn't actually be used in your repertoire of logistical facades used to get the bang. Stick with "I want to make sure you get home safe" and "Can I use the bathroom?"

Instead of "Netflix and chill" just talk up how amazing some show or band is and tell her she absolutely has to see/hear it. Then use that as your excuse to invite her over.

Incredibly, "Netflix and chill" has even reached Norwegian mainstream media now, and I have seen "No Netflix and chill" in Tinder profiles here.

I'll just stick with asking chicks to come over for movie/dinner/drinks/massage/stamp collection like I've always done.

It kind of sucks they made a meme out of this. I remember back when you could invite a girl to your place to watch a movie without completely arousing suspicion on what you were up to. Sure, they probably knew you'd make a move at some point but there was still enough plausible deniability they could accept your offer without activating their anti-slut defense system. Now that "Netflix and Chill" is part of the public consciousness, it no longer has ANY plausible deniability.

I know it's not a PUA move. I was just reflecting back on my younger days when that shit was enough to actually work. Personally, I like watching Netflix and chilling with or without a sexual motive, but now it's a cultural meme you're under suspicion even if you genuinely just want to watch a movie. Feminists run in the streets like rats; even the people working the door at clubs have feminist leanings and will sometimes hassle you about "dress code" and other BS when you're dressed just fine and the real issue is simply that you're a white male out solo. One of my FWBs used the term "that beta guy" to refer to a guy in a foreign film who took the "compliment and cuddle" approach to trying to attract women. She also said "so many guys have no game online" when talking about apps like Tinder.

On Saturday night I was in Providence and walked by two young women sitting in a Honda Civic drinking. I smile at them and one of them looks at me with a glare and snarls "Yeah, ugh. NOT YOU. Fuck you."

Also saw a guy get the shit kicked out of him on the main street in front of a bar at about 10 PM. I think his gay lover was angry at him; the overwhelming majority of male on male street violence around here seems like homo relationship quarrels. It's a charming place, it's America's future.

^ Everyone gets treated poorly in bars and clubs from time to time, but the reason these couple occasions stuck out in my mind is because they seemed like they were reading from a script and otherwise we were having a good chat, the comment was apropos of nothing. This is one of the reasons I advocate all players should learn to play Poker. It's connections to game (mostly the long , LTR/STR game rather than pickup) are endless. I used to think like you, however experience has shown me just how much more guys like us tend to know than others.
