Well, I guess I finally found a place on earth where being 6'4 and blonde gives me an edge over dark haired spaniards/latins or italians. Well, I guess some of the cities I've been to in China provide a similar response.

Not sure why people need to question if these girls were pro's or not when you stated they were not. I am sure you stood out compared to the local men who are not much to look at.

Most guys in Portugal and Spain are under 6 ft(I lived there).I'm half portuguese half Brazilian and would kill to be a tall blond guy like you here in Brazil.

The cons of high summer in some places is the Brit Stag parties scaring off all the local women or places like Paris and Rome that are just empty in August.

Honestly, although I may fit the stereotype of a good looking guy, I don't do nearly as well as latin guys, or dark haired guys in most places on this planet. The only places that I seem to outperform most everyone else is eastern europe and parts of Asia. Most places in America is a fucking nightmare... then again, that probably has less to do with me and more with the women's lib movement that spawned raging bitches.

You were lucky. Usually the girls here don't wait for friends in a bar, but rather in subway or just outside. Look at McDonalds entrance at Piata Unirii station, this is the major meeting point. There you'll see a lot of girls alone waiting for their friends.

As I said, the main points here are day game and group approaches. If you suck at both, you only score would likely be Rosy Palm. Generally, if you're from US and find it hard to score there, you'll have hard time trying to score here.

Indeed, being tall and blond will give you significant initial advantage (once you talked to them for thirty minutes and as an interesting and fun guy and not another creepy drunk Brit looking to get laid ASAP, it won't matter a lot). However you still have to approach. Do not expect the girls to approach you.

What's the point in going to Turkey to spend the whole time in an all exclusive resort and never leave. You don't see any of Turkey that way.

Sightseeing is all good and nice and I've been to many places specifically for sightseeing and for their history and nature. But to Turkey I go to the resorts because they provide a good value for your holiday buck.

Nah I go to countries to actually see and experience them not to be couped up in a resort that could be anywhere in the world, there's always opportunities to lay on the beach, sip cocktails and terrorise women when you go abroad but I like to see the country too.

I do remember the girls being quite hot in Bucharest, BUT it was anything but easy to score with them. I am mixed black/white, tall, athletic build...did not find that I had any special advantage being there. I did see some stunners, but honestly...I see way more living in southern Spain. Same type of girl. The club I remember going to was called Bamboo. Maybe it's still around...it was chock full of girls.

BTW, I see some guys think that Romanians are Slavic. They are not. I thought they would be given the region, but I was quickly corrected by many Romanian girls. As you might expect from Roman-ia, that area was settled by the Romans, hence the modern day affection to the Italians, I guess. Unlike Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Bosnia, the Romanians seem to have a even lighter complexion and slightly more striking features. I would say they are closer to the appearance of hungarians than the slavs. I'm no etymologist, so this is just my observation.

One thing to mention, is that the girls know that foreigners always say that Romania has the hottest girls. I would frequently be asked, "tell me really why you are visiting Romania." It's tempting to say "because the girls are hot", but try to avoid that approach. Their hot-ness doesn't seem to go to their heads... at least the ones I met.

Correct. Romanians are a latin people with a significan Turkish influence due to being dominated by the Ottaman Empire in years past. The Romanian language is a romance language, the same family of languages as Spanish, Portugues, French, and Italian. In fact, Romanian is closest to the original Latin.

Agreed. Been to Romania many times and there just are not that many blacks there and have never had any problem. Not going to say that being black gives you any particular advantage but I've found Romanians to be very "civilized" when it comes to color. The only group that they seem to universally despise are the gypsies.

This would be tough. Anything decent in a nice area (close to downtown where all the action is) typically goes for at least 30 EUR a night, and you have to commit to two+ weeks in advance to get this rate. And staying too far away from the downtown area would screw up your logistics.

I never stay in hostels so I have no idea. But it is possible - if you find one in downtown area (Lipscani), it is likely to be this kind as all the buildings there are old.
