Stockholms' new "equality" committee
I believe all of us are well aware of the hypocritical nature of feminism and so called equality, but here is a little piece from the mad house we call Sweden.
Translated article:
Quote:This week added a new group in Stockholm's city government named Offices for human rights and democracy. The group is led by Annika Hjelm (MP).
- We will work with gender equality issues. That no locals should be discriminated against is one of the main goals, she says. About half the group consists of people who have previously worked in Stockholm with these issues. Then I hired four people outside who have deep and broad knowledge of this type of question.
Uniformly worse
The newly appointed council consists entirely of women, and opposition mayors Lotta Edholm (FP) believes that the composition of the group is galling:
- It is incredibly important when adding services to always think in courses that represented groups are represented and that there will be very unequally when adding management. I have no view on any of these women, but it's a bit strange that men should be completely unrepresented, says Lotta Edholm.
According to Lotta Edholm, it had been difficult to get away with such a unified group elsewhere in the municipality.
- It is not strange that there be very many women in municipal activities but one has to still try to get a reasonably good balance based on skills, she says.
Interviewed more men
Annika Hjelm responds to criticism:
- I've been aware of the issue. Although it is not everything, so it is clear that representation is significant. There has been a lot of expertise among candidates who were not selected. A massive majority of the applicants were women, and I've probably interviewed more men than women in relation to how many people have applied.
Hjelm says that she has had the help of an HR consultant at recruitment and says that she has followed the city's model of competency-based recruitment.
- It is clear that it would have been great if there were men in the group. In all groups, it is a good gender mix, but I am convinced that I have hired the people who will be best for the job we do, she says.
Offices for human rights and democracy consists of nine people, and Annika Hjelm has no plans to recruit more at the moment.
As usual, the same feminists who complain for women being underepresented in the board of directors in private companies, create a women's only club to represent both genders interest. What to expect, when the leader of said club is a self-acclaimed Anti-Racist Feminist.
Good to see that at least some women see hypocrisy of it whole, as is the case of Lotta Edholm, who comments on it.
Unfortunately, and as is expected, nothing is likely to change despite of these details coming to the surface.
Sweden has most definitely reached Defcock 1.
