How many votes will Trump get in the General Elections?
I'm pretty sure Donald Trump is going to be in the general elections, either as the Republican nominee or as an Independent. I'm wondering how much votes you guys think he'll get.

I'm sure he is aware as he has posted in it multiple times. I don't believe he is able to add a poll to the existing thread however, so I don't know if this qualifies as a normal dupe if the purpose was to hold a poll speculating how many votes Trump is gonna get.

Depends.

If he does not (for whatever reason) obtain the Republican nomination, around 25%.

If he does obtain the nomination (looking as likely as ever now), depends who his opponent is.

If Clinton is his opponent, I predict he loses in a close battle - 48% to 49%

If Bernie Sanders, he may pull of the close victory - 51% ish.
Just a human enjoying his "Apex-Predator Privilege" atop the food chain.

Depends how willing he is to use populist and dog whistling rhetoric. If he's too loud he'll scare certain segments of the electorate to vote en masses against him and he'll lose. If he moves a little closer to the centre he might snatch a close one regardless of who he runs against.
