She previously pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of inciting injury to persons.

Police in Simsbury said Stevens paid a handyman $5,000 to kill her ex-husband, Eric Stevens, but the handyman didn’t carry it out.

“I’m going to go get remarried and have more kids and when she does her next screw up and goes to jail for 10 years, I’m going to try to reestablish with my daughter,” Eric Stevens said in reaction to the plea deal.

He's learned nothing from this experience.

Meanwhile, Tim Lambesis (badass vocalist, if metal is your thing) rots in a jail cell for six years. Identical crime.

Hope he's working on Triple Brutal while he's in there! But good point, that is one of many double standards in play.
