While all these Yelp, Facebook and Twitter comments right now are funny and definitely causing them some stress they won't last. Next week or month they will be deleted or buried under 'new' reviews.

A ROK article will stay on top of Google and will funnel in a lot of people who is searching for this business. Hey whats the address of that business again? Google. Hey what time are they open till tonight? Google.

Disagree entirely on Yelp.

The place looks like it's only been open a year and has just 21 reviews. There are another 1,000 or so businesses listed just under "cafe" in Montreal.

There's very little chance that people are going to Google the exact name of anything other than the most prestigious of restaurants. What's more likely is they'll search "cafes in Montreal", "coffee shops in Montreal", etc. on Google or a site like Yelp.

These review sites are huge in this day and age even for the already established restaurants, but especially for places just getting off the ground.

Another 20 bad reviews that brings it down to say 3 or 3.5 stars could literally break that cafe. The majority of restaurants fail period. And even if it didn't, it would definitely put a dent in their business.

99% of the people who use Yelp to look for a cafe would never even see the ones rated that low.

They could still get walk-in traffic, but no one is building a business on walk-in traffic in such a huge and affluent city. The cafe would have to go overdrive in marketing ($$$) to outweigh their busted online reputation.

TripAdvisor.com is another one that I've known managers in restaurants I've worked at (nationally recognized in the US) to assign a lot of weight to. In fact, more than Yelp.

P.S. I agree that an ROK article would be good, I'm just clarifying that these reviews sites are important for businesses, especially one that only has 21 reviews so far.

I agree, let's fuck that cafe over. We can't detail a too elaborate thread on it, because the cafe owner can too easily link to it as proof and get everything removed, but we should hatch a plan to drip feed 2 and 3 star reviews on there over the next 2 months.

Yelp has put enough spam filters in to pick up if you have a brand new account and/or are not in the area to combat just what you guys are trying to do.

Guys that have aged Yelp accounts can shit on the place, and guys in Montreal can as well. Just send some good reviews to other places in the area first. I would suggest that everyone not do it at once however, but rather drop shit reviews on them over the following weeks.

Do not be like the SJW nutjobs and forget about this tomorrow. Keep dumping on this place over the next several weeks and they will either have to pay yelp or an online reputation manager to fix their shit.

Either way, they are fucked online.

Battle was won, and Roosh got a lot of publicity out of it. A lot of people who attacked him made fool of themselves.

Montreal is such a nice city, but it looks like the leftists and the feminists are ruining it. Confused

Did the Canadian law that meant even non-married women got money and assets in a split-up actually go ahead in Montreal?

I read in legal news that some provinces in Canada were proposing things that made even Sweden sound as feminist as Imperial Japan.

I do not see how they could legally get away with that from a human rights perspective. If men stop wanting marriage you make marriage more palatable and appealing to men, not make them want to live alone for fear of losing their assets and further making Canada barren amongst the productive segments of the population with Canada's already low Canadian born birthrate.

Can I get the cliffnotes of what happened here? I thought Montreal was the last 'good city' in North America?
