I stumbled upon this talk between Julien Blanc and Preston Smiles yesterday. I like some of Julien's work, but I had never heard of Preston. They talk about motivation, energy and vibrating, living in the moment.

The talk is almost 40min long. Cliff notes below, but I found the whole thing to be worth watching. (Tip: you can download the video as an MP3 and listen as a podcast.)





02:40: If you had a gun to head, you would stop procrastinating and act. Realize life is exactly that, just on a different scale.

04:20: Find your why and motivation will follow.

09:00: Happiness is an inside job. Everything else is extra.

12:50: Nothing comes for free. You can't just take, you have to give.

14:35: "You may not have what you want, but you may experience what you have."

16:00: Law of attraction.

23:40: Wounded self vs. Higher self.

23:25: The moment you try to squeeze water, it escapes. Most people live in the past or the future, not in the moment.

33:00: Like a tree, you need a rich soil to develop yourself. Remove bad habits and beliefs like you would remove debris from the soil to plant a tree.
