That was hilarious, it just goes to show all those stupid phrases and ancient laws they learnt mean nothing. Honesty and politeness is much better for dealing with police. Saying stuff like "Am I being detained?" and trying to debate with them about laws is only going to piss people off, its a completely pointless thing to do.

The best bit was the guy guarding the court entrance, who looked completely tired of the guys shit, and not threatened by him at all. So the second he tried to push past, he just instantly tased him, no arguing, just bang.

You know, I get all the buzz in the media about police brutality and abuse of authority and whatnot, but this anti-law-enforcement liberal bullshit needs a rest once in a while. They're just people doing a job, a job that is difficult, frustrating, and stressful if the public does not cooperate with them. When I see those law book thumpers who only open their window a crack when talking to an officer and generally just being cold and discourteous while self-righteously flexing their rights and being smuggly defiant it makes me happy I never got into law enforcement. Those are the exact same kind of people who say "the customer is always right" and pitch a bitch when things don't go exactly how they want 100% of the time. Some people just need to be humbled.

EDIT: Also, this woman is incredibly grating. I wold pull a Vic Macky and plant a kilo or two of coke in her precious bag. Get her on some hardcore trafficking for being a cunt and ruining my day.

Her constant threats to call his "superiors" are ironic. She herself wants to be anti-authoritarian, and the way she tries to do that is to call out the authorities on him.

I also wonder about her constant use the word "superiors." She must have used it at least 50 times, if not more. Our choices of words unwittingly reflect our inner selves. She doesn't say "bosses" or "lieutenants," she just keeps saying "superiors." What could this signify? Wonder if that's a way of saying-without-saying that he's "inferior?"

I don't know. Those guys usually tend to be the Prison Planet/Don't Tread On Me types who are anti-government. Calling them liberal is a stretch.

That video above has a couple clips that should not be lumped in with the Freeman/Sovereign Citizen movement.

The ones that are smoking weed, speeding etc and are just spouting words only to eventually and rightfully get manhandled for not complying with lawful orders, those are idiots and get what they deserve.

But the Inland Border Checkpoint stuff, you don't have to state your citizenship and you don't have to do anything*, and in my opinion you shouldn't. I see those as a whole other issue, and an example of the government going too far. I shouldn't have to prove my citizenship at random checkpoints inside the U.S., no where near a border. "Papers please"

Are some of the people in the checkpoint refusal videos annoying? Yes. Is it a waste of time to not comply and 'easier' to just respond "yes"? Maybe. But in my opinion, its a situation worth not needlessly complying with things you don't have to. There have been changes since people started recording the interactions and lawfully refusing to answer- the officers are a lot more tame now in general and follow the laws more closely instead of demanding all kinds of shit not provided for in the statutes and playing fast and loose with their authority.

I agree with that.

But you don't right a wrong by committing another wrong. If its at the border, or a traffic stop, or other legitimate reason to look into the identity of the person then fine. But we should not be subject to government inquiry just going about our day having committed no crimes nor seeking entry.
