You don't need to take a site offline when updating articles so unless Roosh is making changes to the structure of the site why would this be offline? As far as I remember most commercial hosting companies keep sites up better than 99.99% of the time.

Next time please call your helpdesk first and open a ticket. Then if that does not work, open a ticket with Roosh and Tuth.

Haha. I am using the correct address http://www.returnofkings.com/. The above was a typo. Still getting the same message. Front page loads but only articles up to 23 July, and the error message above. Individual pages don't load. "Error 522 - Time out - No cache".

Anyway, must be something local. Maybe with my ISP. Will check it out this side.

Could be a DNS problem. Recently opendns blocked ROK, perhaps your ISP did the same? Try http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com

The solution would be to use a custom name server such as 8.8.8.8 .

Yeah what Storm said. Check your DNS settings. You could always switch to Google DNS servers. 8.8.8.8

OK, so the site loads if I use a proxy server. But I just can't believe that my ISP would be at all bothered with black-listing a site like returnofkings, so I'll check what other problem it could be later.

Probably they just copy paste the opendns blocklist or use opendns themselves.

Might I suggest... Call them and ask them to unban it.

I've seen this a couple of times lately. But it's always been back up next time I checked. Maybe it was during the 0.01% of the time the site is down. When hosting companies temporarily take sites down they try to do it in off-peak times. Being in Australia these are usually the times I'll be on the internet.
