Any girl that thinks she is funny enough or better than someone else to take the other person's details and mock them publicly is pretty narcissistic. And she isn't pretty enough to be that narcissistic and have a guy put up with it.

She isn't talented or unique enough to get attention through music or art or even a hot body. Her attention seeking mechanism is putting down guys. This is definitely true. But we need to break this down because the "unwanted attention" part is more significant than we think.

"Attention" is only good when the quality of that attention is good. As an example, Heartiste once wrote that when fat girls hit on him, it actually shook his confidence because he thought "Does someone like this really think I'm on her level? What does that say about me?" I've had this feeling too.

Now, let's translate that to women. If a woman in her forties constantly gets unwanted, overt sexual attention from younger guys, but is ignored by men her own age that says to her "I have little worth beyond being a fuck toy. No man genuinely likes me. I must have nothing to offer besides a vagina, which will be discarded the next day."

As with the fat girl-Heartiste scenario, this can actually have a cumulative negative effect on a woman's psyche.

It's hard to understand how women perceive this because we see the world from our own male perspective. But look at it this way: The equivalent of this for a guy is the attention you get from the kind of women who only want you to take them shopping or buy them dinner, then disappear after they get what they want.

It's selfish, conditional attention. We've all experienced this. Hell, in high school I had a girl who only liked me because I could get her discount records. When my connection at the local record store dried up, she went completely cold!

And, as with the women I cited above, this can have a cumulative negative effect on a man's psyche. You start to think you're a loser who women just want to exploit but don't really like.

That said, there are women in their forties and fifties who specifically look for sex from younger men. The media (of course) would have you believe the majority of women are like this, but the reality is the majority are not.

To digress a bit, if you're a twentysomething guy who wants to bed an older woman (something I used to do, by the way), don't buy the media's bullshit that they're all hot-to-trot cougars.

Most are not -- especially the ones you find online. They're the same tightly-wound HR types you're meeting in your twenties, except more jaded and less attractive. Most don't magically morph into Nina Whats-Her-Name (I'm thinking of a MILF porn actress here) and become hyper-sexual.

Anyway, the way to do it is set yourself apart by finding something quirky you both have in common and establishing an emotional connection through that. I did this with '60s music because with the generation before mine, Baby Boomers, music was a big thing. Today, all the MILFs are into all this weird cable TV crap, so if you're a younger guy, start watching "Waking Dead" or "Haunted Houses" whatever these shows are called and build on that. They'll love you for it.
