Still a newb (you can see my beginner post to learn backstory). My primary mission is simply to up my game and acquire notches. Both are severely lacking form where I think I should be.

I've already decided to run online game as a 27-28 yr old (I'm 32) and in-person game on an as-needed basis.

My question is whether anyone out there has used an alias for either game. I am thinking about it. My first and last name are pretty unique, so a search on either name, my city, and profession is going to bring me up. I was talking to a 24 yr old girl last night at a concert, we texted more today. She comes back after googling me saying if I went to college in 2001 then how can I be 27? Busted, I played it off cool (per RVF posters methods) and this case will be fine. We're getting drinks tomorrow night.

But this begs the question, if I am purely after notches then why would my real name matter? If employing the ZDB and Drinks then Bang strategies? Going after notches alone and with some success may also bring some unhappy girls. Another reason as to why to fly incognito.

I will say that with online game, I usually get away with using only my initials. I don't give away too much. There was the case where the girl I went out with asked my age (showed 25) but I told her my real age...and all was still well.
