Crossroads
I was pondering this - if the game really boils down to overcoming a combination of physiological responses, habits, past experiences and belief systems - what is there all the complication for?

I have been driving at this for two years, remaining mostly an admirer of the arts. The times I do 'step up' (in my mind, while for others, they'd be merely following their desires), I am met with 'success'. However, this stepping up is not a constant in my life, and often times. And with enough stepping up, I feel 'burnt out' or turn to nihilism. Perhaps I shouldn't even label it as stepping up.

In the end, we're only overcoming ourselves whether that be in the form of emotional or mental blocks. Everything we ever experience and the construct of it all are ultimately just chemical reactions in our head.

Goals
-Make the approach and follow up a habit
-Stop wanking it to porn

RE: Crossroads
Takes alil more than simply just "approach"

Need to backup that approach with substance.

Get rid of this Cartesian mind/body dualism. Game is "nihilistic" in the sense that we're using the most effective means to fulfill our instincts. We are animals programmed to fuck, and there's no need to read too deeply into this.

Your instincts won't go away until you die so don't mourn the fact that you have them-just try to bang as much as possible. The crap in your head does not matter as much as you think it does.

Definitely. I approached a fair amount last summer, but it was all in the scheme of 'practicing to become a PUAAA' instead of being genuine. In either case, I'm stifling my progress by doing nothing.

Brilliant.

In response to the Cartesian mind/body dualism and getting rid of it - so...essentially get rid of unnecessary mind-fucks, philosophizing, intellectualizing that prevent me from achieving my biology (i.e. fucking)? (That and not cheating my instincts with the release from porn). [This has been the problem, I always somehow manage to self-doubt myself, which is part of this beta loop, but at least I'm conscious of it now]
