RE: Cultural tipping point has been reached
The argument's been made that most of the decline is due to the Repubs. I'd say it's not the fact they're Republican but the fact that they have no balls.

The Democrats have balls. Well, some of them. The ones that do are like fighting bulldogs that see something and go after it and do not give up easily. This is what the Republicans need to do. Stop propping up teary-eyed, pro-NSA hacks like Boehner and instead elect someone who is a General Maximus who knows how to overcome fear and doesn't give two shits about offending the gay lobby.

He is part of the reason why the gays wield the power they do. Do you think Reagan would have ever tolerated the mess we are in? Did he tolerate Iran in 1979? What happened in Iran after he came to office? That's right... they let them go because they knew he had balls.

They only act that way when they're a mob shouting down a lone dissident. The vast majority of them have no courage, not even intellectual courage. That's why most of them got on the homosexual "marriage" bandwagon mere months ago; that's why so many of them acquiesced to Bush's belligerence in 2003 and then portrayed themselves as peace-loving doves in 2004; that's why they tend to have the same brainless set of political epiphanies during their first semester at college and then fail to reexamine any of them for the rest of their lives.

RE: Cultural tipping point has been reached
I think we already zoomed past the cultural tipping point back in '08. Or at least that's when it became crystal clear that there was no turning back.

We lost our institutions long ago. Schools are churning out marxist lemmings by the truckload, and there is nothing that can really be done to stop it at this point. This was in the making decades ago, it's just that now we are seeing the fruits of their labor. Ten years ago you could at least argue about the morality of any given issue, however now the very idea of anything the left pushes being "immoral" has become a parody due to shaming tactics by the left. As i stated in the reddit thread, Reddit and the whole "meme culture" have contributed greatly to this becoming the norm.

Original thoughts? LAWL, HERE'S A PICTURE OF A CAT MOCKING THOSE FUNDIES!"

It was around '08 when the media and academia really started ramping up the privilege narrative, which people seemed to buy into without much resistance. That was also the year that Prop 8 went into law here in CA. I still remember that even though most people supported it, it suddenly became "not ok" to hold that view. There was no more open and honest debate regarding anything, anymore. It was "If you don't support gay marriage, you're a nazi and you must DIE". Up until then, there was still some people on the left who didn't resort to mob tactics and intimidation. I think once they discovered they could use social media to bully and intimidate people into silence, the gloves came off. That and they realized how easily the average person (read: woman and manginas) were to manipulate.

Since then it's only increased exponentially but I don't need to explain that to the readership here.

Will there be a backlash? I doubt it. The system is broken. We can't take back the power through voting, that's fer damn sure.

^^^^^^

Given where we are today I'd like to think that there will be a backlash, and I think things will eventually get at least somewhat less insane, but it's going to be years away and not anytime soon. The powers that will be are going to go unchecked for awhile now and tear down a lot of normal, natural parts of society and culture. Extreme political correctness rules and the Year Zero mentality seems to really be accelerating as well.

The fact that the US is so incredibly litigious and you can lose your job, business and/or most of your money in court due to any number of frivolous but dangerous laws & lawsuits is also going to continue to shut a lot more people up in the future.

Q. Given what we're seeing, why the f*ck would anyone, especially "conservatives," want to export what we've got back home in the US to foreign countries at this point? How can these neocon people on the right continue to justify it?

Because neocons are all about making a buck at any cost. Polluted the ocean? It's ok, we made a profit. Selling weapons that wind up in the hands of terrorists? It's ok, we made a profit. Burning the constitution for things like TPP and NAFTA? It's ok, we made a profit.
Don't look to the neocons to fix our current situation they're the other side of the same problem.

RE: Cultural tipping point has been reached
An all out collapse is the only thing that will cleanse the US. I don't think there is anything we can do to reel in the crazy liberals, they're power drunk and it would take a real tangible event to shut them down. I'm talking long term power outages, food shortages, things that will actually wipe out the weak. This country needs ACTUAL hardship to change the tide, that will either convert or rid us of the weak.

Another path is actual revolt and division. People are quiet now, but we are moving fast from one extreme to another, I think there will be a tipping point.

The liberal extremists have the loudest voice in this country, and its sad because I think they represent a small portion of the public, they've gotten a lot of people to play along to avoid being burned at the stake, but most Americans want nothing to do with this shit. It's brainwashing.

The cultural tipping point was in 08'. Those bailouts were a blank check for bankers SJW's. No one revolted to what was a blank check for the people who bankrupted the economy. That's when I knew this country was in deep shit.

The Republican "me too" party is useless. Their only concern is to get America involved in more wars in the Middle East. The fact is that all the politicians are completely bought out by money. They are whores. There is nobody left who speaks for the people. If the politicians represented the people, Russia would be America's best friend in fighting cultural Marxism.

It does seem like things may still get worse before the tide turns. If Hillary is elected and appoints multiple Supreme Court justices things can get very bad indeed.

There may need to be some new coalition formed, between conservative Latinos, southern whites, and perhaps Asians with more traditional values.

The future of the Church/religious circles will also be key to a new coalition. Mainline Protestantism has dissolved into Liberalism. I'm seeing non-denominational/evangelical Protestantism bending further and further with the Leftist cultural winds, primarily creeping in via care-for-the-poor-social-justice stuff, although I still personally know many solid, young conservative evangelicals. Not sure what is happening with Catholics, other than I do know their church has been in shambles what with all the priest molestation lawsuits and a complete lack of evangelical energy. Eastern Orthodox seem to have similar problems, but are still to small in numbers to be a political force anyways.

It disappoints me that religious people continue to keep their heads in the sand regarding the completely dysfunctional dating/sexual market. It will take more than Dalrock to educate Christians on the red pills of post-feminist world. They also made no genuine intellectual effort to address and counter the LGBT agenda. Hopefully, a newer, perhaps somewhat more exclusive and doctrinally sound, brand of American religion is coming, and can help drive a more cunning and intellectually robust Conservatism to counter this crazy off the chain Liberalism.
