Nearly all of these outfits look absolutely ridiculous / hideous to me. Probably a good thing I haven't been back to SF in over 20 yrs. How can you live in that city and find any attractive girls to talk to if everyone is walking around looking like that?

I actually thought this thread was about more dumb euro fashion (like the Helsinki site) until I saw so many American names.

I can't remember the exact context, but I do recall some interview where Bono from U2 predicted all this. He had some idea that there would come a time when all fashions from the past would be able to coexist simultaneously.

The number of dudes I would have a beer with or chicks I would bang based on those pictures is depressingly low.

The 90s-inspired amorphous blob fashion irritates the hell out of me. In my opinion, probably one of the worst decades for tailored, classy and classic looking clothes, as these pictures show. Half of these people are basically wearing denim-colored burlap bags and some garish prints with zero consideration for the human form.

Pretty close to what I already wear:


Would be ok if you wear it with the posture of a man and not an anime schoolgirl.


Needs to hit the gym but at least the suit is decently tailored.


There's maybe a couple other borderline outfits but the rest of these freaks are fucking embarrassments.

Example:

"Animals, darkness, and tattoos inspire me." I can't imagine wearing shorts and a tanktop with that lack of muscle definition.

I respect these fringe hipsters more than traditional hipsters/yipsters, paradoxically, they're typically not as SWPL as the common hipsters.

The company BETABRANDS until recently had aside from their Beta name also models like that:



Looking at their website now it seems that they have become aware of the fact that being a weak emasculated man does not even sell among the Hipster crowd. So they exchanged their models to cooler Hipster-guys.

Maybe I'm from too rural an area. I had to look at names to figure out whether a great deal of these were men or women, and even then I was mystified a few times.
