NY is full of so many "harmless" crazy people who just yell and talk to themselves, maybe aggressively ask you for money but ultimately don't do anything, that people often don't take it seriously when some weird guy gets in their face...

I wonder what the penalty is for actually striking someone who's up in your face like this? Just the other week a guy sat directly across from me on the train and started yelling really aggressive stuff right at me. I half thought I should be worried about a fight and pre-emptively take the guy down, but thankfully I was calm enough to just change cars.

It's not me who is fixated on it. The guy writing the posts was so fixated on race, I figured there was no way anyone but a black man could have talked some sense into him.

I'm familiar with his frustration. Not saying I'd react in the same way. I love foreign women. As a black dude Asian women are probably at the top of my list. Why? Its a preference, not a fetish. I think the tough realization was that "I'm doing everything right (according to society), and still getting shitted on by the women I like most."

I'd say it was a one-itis as far as race was concerned. He was self-destructive and didn't have any luck in his pursuits, which only made it all worse. I know how it is, being that race that gets a lot of negative coverage by the media worldwide.

I don't think I've heard of any BlackGodFactor, AsianGodFactor, SGF, or whatever, because media projects a certain race as superior beings. What happened to this dude was just another day living as a man without game and seemingly mentally disturbed near his death.

After approaching 100s of women, he was livid and wanting to use violence against all of the women that rejected him. I mentioned somewhere else, that some women like what they're told to like. Asian women were raised to date other asian men but maybe told not to date other races for stereotypical reasons.

I don't like how this ended, but I know that frustration. Before game I would have thought that I was incapable of getting any women post my LTR (who happened to be an asian chick). This dude didn't have any real friends. Its crazy because he's not the only one, meaning he won't be the last case.

I think it would take for someone with some familiarity to bring him down to earth and lead him the right way. Its just that it never happened in time.

On this forum I won't have to explain to you guys why this type of crime occurs. Unfortunately he wasn't the first and he definitely won't be the last. The media will play the blame game like they always do instead of digging to the root of the cause and asking the important questions. The cause will be misogyny and that'll be the end of it as this crime continues to increase.

Dude should have went to the source. He was clearly crazy but some girl in Thailand, Phillipines or Japan would have easily satisfied his Asian fetish.

No offense, but the manosphere and the people on this forum are getting like the mainstream media, trotting out cliches instead of thinking things through.

A "Beta" would have hit paydirt by 150 women. As I said on the thread in the "game" section about this, this man was mentally ill. It might have been low-grade mental illness, but it was mental illness nontheless.

No one, it seems, can deal with the fact that mental illness exists -- at least not when it comes to men. So instead the mainstream media looks to blame flags or "misogyny." The manosphere, meanwhile, trots out "Beta," hypergamy, etc.

When you have something like asthma or epilepsy, you can get it in degrees. Some people suffer every day. Others have episodes once a year. And so on.

So it is with mental illness. Some severely paranoid schizophrenics irrationally think UFOs are controlling them. Others are less mentally ill and irrationally see women or certain ethnic groups as monsters. I see this guy as being low-grade schizophrenic -- just "together" enough to pass for somewhat normal, but not normal enough to live a normal life and do things like get dates or have friends (he apparently had no friends).

While a lot of people might be bigots and harbor resentment against ethnic groups, the patterns in which this guy's thoughts worked should be a tip-off that his feelings went beyond bigotry and into the realm on metal illness.

Sorry for the lecture, but this is getting to be a sore spot with me. We should not be afraid to say "He's crazy!" when we see people like this guy, the church shooter, or Elliott Rodger. It's hard to assess mental illness (even shrinks don't do it right) but 100 years ago, people seemed to do it real quickly.

When I was growing up, one of my friends was diagnosed with schizophrenia at around age 17. He looked normal. He was intelligent and a great artist. You'd talk to him and it would seem OK.

And then it would get...weird. He'd talk a little too much. The conversation would veer off into nonsensical tangents but they'd have tinges of brilliance. But, ultimately, this guy wound up with no friends and no girl because he was crazy and put people off.

It took a long time for his folks to admit he needed to be institutionalized. Eventually he got so paranoid they had no choice. Luckily he committed no violence, but by the end he was speaking of being a "white supremist" (his misnomer, not mine) where previously, he'd been a love-everyone-hippie-Deadhead. His paranoia manifested itself in terms of race, for some reason, out of the blue.

What his parents didn't do (thankfully) was look to the outside world to explain away his behavior. They looked to his brain and found it damaged. This is what the media and manosphere need to be doing. Actually, this is what the families of all these deluded men need to be doing -- but until the media sets the tone with this, people won't know to do it.

It's instructive, also, to realize that as difficult as it is for us to call a man out as mentally ill, the media instantly calls for "counseling" and mental health help for any woman who exhibits the same behavior. Let's not fall into that double standard.

I actually don't think we have much to worry about. The media runs on narrative hierarchies, and PUA/Redpill/"misogyny" stuff is lower on the hierarchy tree than race stuff. This particular incident fucks with the "white racists vs people of color" narrative, since it involves black on Asian crime, and a "creepy" one at that.

Saying "Oh well, he was incurably crazy, nothing to see here" isn't much less of a cop out than blaming misogyny or betaness.
Mental illness isn't exclusively genetic, there's a huge situational component, beyond even just having an unstable childhood.

Also worth noting that schizophrenics as a group are not staggeringly more likely to be violent than the general population.
