This bridge connecting the Bellagio to Caesar's Palace was one of the spots that I worked frequently as a club promoter. Look to the far left, where the pillar is cropped out of frame, and the pillar next to it. That's where me and another promoter would be assigned.

There is a set of stairs to the street level hidden behind the bridge, further amplifying this choke point. On busy nights during peak season, people would be shoulder to shoulder shuffling along the bridge.

In those conditions, I can see how it'd be annoying to have two guys standing amid a sea of bodies. People brushed by, and I got bumped a few times, but never knocked over. Most people who were exiting the Bellagio said "Excuse me," as they walked behind me toward Caesar's.

Only a handful of times did anyone ever have rude remarks, usually along these lines:

"Oh my God, just standing in the way!"
"What the fuck, why is this guy just taking up space?"


And every single time...

Every. Single. Time.


Every single time, it was some fatty-boom-batty woman.

Nothing worse than a fat, ugly woman with a fat, ugly personality.

Just seen another example of this yesterday. Been working with a gentleman over the phone/e-mail in buying a Lincoln. He's a mid-30s professional and (no homo) a rather good-looking dude. We close yesterday and he brings his wife along - 5'4", about 210, and with a face that truly resembles Miss Piggy. Barely speaks, acts like its a struggle to shake my hand, sour puss on her face the entire time, picks the car apart from bumper to bumper (mind you, this is a vehicle the husband is buying for himself as she has her own car), and just has this caustic, rude aura about her.

Now I've also met some darn homely looking big women who are absolutely genuinely sweet as can be - smiling, happy, great personality. At least trying to bring something to the table.

But for the life of me, I can't imagine choosing to deal with that day in, day out. Clearly a guy who on face value could do much better subjecting himself to that kind of attitude willingly - and legally committing himself to it as well. You had better be a solid hard 9 and young to get away with a personality like that.

I saw one of those this past weekend at the paint store. Girl was probably 25, 5'8 275, with that peculiar firm fatness that's all smooth like an inflated balloon rather than saggy and loose. Her face was so fat it was like a cartoon: an oval with eyes, mouth, and nostrils, no chin(s) or cheekbones or even wattles. But she had that genuinely sweet and funny fat-girl personality that you rarely encounter anymore - helpful, not sullen at all, seemed happy to be there doing her job and being around customers.

In other words, she had exactly the kind of personality that the bitter, self-loathing, and caustic fat-positive/HAES women claim to have.




What is it with the nasty fat women and this tendency to tart themselves up like bad drag queens? I've seen this same face in real life too many times to count.

What a horrifying, yet strangely fascinating photo. When I first saw it, I thought, "Is that her ass? No, it can't be.... She's sitting on a bean-bag type of cushion... No, it must be her ass. But no one's ass sticks out on the sides like that! That's impossible... Oh my god, is that really her ass? Can a person's ass do that??"

That's the thing about morbidly obese people. Sometimes you honestly can't figure out what the hell you're looking at with them. They seem to grow body parts that are unknown on normal people.

There was a photo you've probably seen (I'm not going to try to locate it) of a woman in WalMart who was so fat it looked like she had breasts growing out of her back. It's gross, yet I can imagine a medical professional would be curious. Seems as though stuff like that should be documented in a textbook or something.

They have a Top Model Plus Size TV show now in Poland.

Could not believe my eyes when looking at it.

And many of the women - you cannot really tell whether they would be 9s or 6s if they were slim. It is literally irrelevant. It's as if you are 150 pounds overweight as a man - at that level it would not matter much whether you were a 9 or a 5 - you are a fat bastard and you lower your value to an almost equally low degree.
