I had a 40 something year old sorta-stalker. She talked for hours to mutual acquaintances making up conspiracy theories about me & would send me chastising emails multiple times a day. All because we talked a few times on the phone about organizing a photo shoot for a political cause; she started trying to make feminism/lesbian adoption a defining issue of the publicity stunt and I wasn't having any of it. Doesn't take much for crazy to enter stalker mode.
