Here we have more churchianity garbage, idealizing single moms and propping up their false victimhood status. Where is the support of single dads who've been divorced raped?


This is why I don't go to church and have no interest in becoming christian, despite how much merit the religion itself has at it's core, the churches themselves and their leadership are concerned only with telling people what they want to hear in order to gain more "followers". The end justifies the means. It's not about helping society, it's now about "saving souls"

I don't think this is as big of a deal as you're making it.

You say that all they're trying to do is gain more followers. That may be true, but it could also be true that they just wanted to help out some people in the area and this is one of the ways they're doing that.

I'd say that the truth lies somewhere in between.

You also say that it's wrong of them to help single mothers and not single fathers, but the reality is that judging from this, they're recognizing that where women struggle with living on their own, men do not. Take that for what it is.

This is a very common church white knight tactic. It is an easy way to up attenders. Funny thing though is once the single moms get their needs met by the church, they go back to riding alpha cock!!

I think you're missing the point. Why is the default course of action to help the single mothers, which by the way presumes their lack of accountability for their own situation?


It takes two to tango. These single moms are every bit as much of an active and willing participant as the male involved in the creation of these fatherless kids. Sure, the guy may be skirting responsibility, but we're supposed to laud these women just for not murdering their unborn children? Seems like white knighting BS to me.


They're doing it because it makes them seem "caring". Just like the violence against women act...you can't openly oppose it because then you "support violence against women". The churches don't realize that through this type of "benevolence" that they encourage misguided behavior, of which the single mom is exhibit A.

You make a good point. I mostly agree with what you're saying, although I was just saying that what they're doing (helping a single parent where they need help) wouldn't make as much sense for single fathers, and that's something we can all agree on. No single father would need help with something like an oil change - they can just do that themselves.

But I get it; women should be held just as accountable as men in a 'single parent' situation. I don't think the church was necessarily making a stance on that by offering to help single mothers and not single fathers, I just think they were doing what you had said in the first place - trying to do nice things for people to get them to join their church.

Its called "community outreach" churches do this so they can interact with people that would never come in the doors or on the church grounds otherwise. Around here they do free events for halloween, 4th of july etc. and poor people swarm the gates for the freebies. It isn't to actually help them but to 'reach" them. Single mothers have children. Children are the future of any church, this is also why they offer $10 daycare at churches around here. The mom's drop the kids off and the kids get indoctrinated for 5 hours a day.

So. we denounce single mothers for raising "fatherless children" while at the same time, encouraging alpha males to go childless or moving to third world countries where it would be easier for them to bail out in case of unwanted children.

And then, we mourn for countries like Germany where the birth rate is so low they have to keep importing immigrants and "dilute" their culture to ensure that their workforce remains stable.

We should praise the union of single mothers and churches for keeping our lower classes strong, ignorant, and docile. The perfect cannon fodder.
