Hello guys,

I got a quick question. Does anyone here on this forum has lived or worked for a while in the Shandong province in China? There might be a job I could get in Weihai however this city seems to be pretty small and I don't know how the life in the Shandong province is in comparision to the 1 tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai or even Shenzhen?

I'm sure there are some hardcore travellers on this forum

Any answers are of course highly appreciated!

I've never lived in Weihai but have been there plenty of times. It's not a bad city to live in but there are no normal foreigners and girls will be less receptive than in the big cities. Also, polluted beaches and shitty food.

The best part of Weihai, and Yantai, is the droves of Korean girls that are much more DTF than the local Chinese.

I'd recommend Yantai over Weihai and am also a fan of Jinan.

How does Yantai compare to Qingdao in terms of the droves of Korean girls/city in general?

Qingdao is bigger, although I think the main difference is that plausibly some of the Koreans would be in Qingdao for tourism.

All of these cities have daily flights to Seoul on multiple airlines.

So more korean girls? But less(or more DTF?) because they are tourist?
