I have to say that I'm intrigued by these ancient customs of bride price/dowry. Why do African societies use bride price (husband pays), while Indian society uses dowry (bride pays)? Malia is 16 now and currently her dad is the president. Body guards will more-than-likely prevent any of that from happening.

But in two years when daddy isn't the boss of the country anymore and she's 18 and proud, the carousel will be in full effect.
