I think earrings like this shows just the right amount of sentimentality and being in tune with a girls desires without coming across as a big deal. My mother actually told me this and it's worked like a charm every time I gave some nice handmade jewelry to a sweet girl.

And here I thought I was the only one who figured out this con. It's cheaper than dinner/drinks and they think it means something special.

I bought mine a Kindle and put some good self development books on it along with some American literature.

Girls from EE usually haven't read American literature. She said it was the best gift she's received and put all her PDF books on it.
