This kind of scam with bogus tax returns is/was also pretty popular among criminals in Miami. I watched a documentary about it.

I wonder how the guy got out of jail and had enough money to move to Europe if he had to pay $500k bail.

He probably served his time, between 2007 (date taken from the newspaper) and, I don't know, 2014... when he got out, horny as hell, he headed to Serbia...

As to the money, well, maybe the prosecution didn't find all his "illegal" bank accounts, back in 2007?

In this case I don't see anything wrong with airing the history as it relates to business integrity. If someones selling a product and they've committed fraud / identity theft would you really want them to get a hold of your information? I sure wouldn't. Perhaps you pay by credit card, would you want to provide your credit card knowing that information? I didn't see the article, just going off what Brodiaga mentioned about tax return fraud. If we are talking about a crime completely unrelated to business / integrity i.e. marijuana possession it would be ridiculous to post about it.

What was stupid is airing the guys name. I'd make that an instant permanent ban. Cliff notes without personal information suffice.

Back to Serbia, honestly I had no interest in going there until I saw Buddha's photos. It led me to look up night life photos and I was exceptionally impressed. I typically like 2nd tier cities and would love to go to Novi Sad in the future.

Back to the Serbia thread - I'm here right now, Belgrade is generally hot and practically empty in the streets in the day. Okay maybe not empty but there s families, and older women who I mistake for younger ones from far away (thusly, Serbian women seem to age pretty well from what I've seen) Am I looking in the wrong places here? There is the occasional young girl wandering around but I would rate 7-8s, and that happens everywhere Haven't really seen the "9s and 10s" that are so uber-hyped about.

Happy to be steered to where its at. I've been in and around rep sq and kneza mihaila. But I'm thinking its gona be like thus til October cos of the summer

Is Belgrade a "no-go" zone for us shorter guys? All I keep seeing are very tall guys (6-3")like Buddha however if one has the shorter "hipster" look how tough is the place?

The local guys are pretty tall and a lot of them are pretty buff as well (no homo) A lot of the girls are tall as well.... Being short here wouldn't do you any favors but its not a death sentence. Being from America gives you a edge but its not a slam dunk. Its not Asia or South America but if you grind it out and put in the work you can do well enough for yourself here for sure.

Perfect example, as I was typing this my AirBnb host comes in to talk to the maid. Hes like 6'4, well dressed, and pretty cut up.

If you have relatively high standards, especially in the corporal department (i.e. don't like girls with thick thunder thighs or flabby/flat asses) then the pickings are already slim even if you're average height (5'10"-5'11"). If you're a really big guy here it's probably a lot easier to ignore the fact a girl is a bit thick and ogreish by international standards.

If you're more than a couple inches below average and tend to prefer petite girls you're probably not going to be thrilled about the range of girls available to you or the fact that you're almost always going to look and feel very short. If you're super good looking and/or don't have high standards maybe you can make it work.

I don't think height should be a major consideration for Belgrade. The girls might be 1-1.5" taller than the European average, but it's not significant. Nick Krauser is only 5'10" tall, and had a lot of success there.

The biggest problem you'll likely face in Belgrade is there is no significant foreigner advantage. Ask a Serbian girl about Serbian guys, and she'll probably speak positively about them...no major complaints. This contrasts sharply to how Czech or Polish girls view their men...many in Prague/Warsaw openly complain about their own.

Guy I have to be specific though that when I stated that I fell short it was in Montenegro and not in Belgrade. Montenegro is the tallest country in the world competing with Netherlands and it was easy to notice, Montenegrins are pretty big and muscular too in general and since it was a beach city I would think it would attract the tallest looking serbs too. I cannot see a difference between a serb and a Montenegrin so I generalized the area.

Belgrade people are tall but nothing exeptional, there were a lot of cute short girls there too.

I think being short would not kill you but it depends how short. If you are a tiny man you may need to find a tiny woman in Belgrade. Just that will lower the quality of women you are going to pull. I don't see a lot of women in BG who both short and extremely attractive.
