Pretty normal for our time, but I stumbled on this story involving a conservative lawmaker who got caught at the very least sending sexual texts to a freshman intern (3-1 odds he got the bang). She hasn't been publicly IDed yet but judging from his headshot, he's probably out kicking his coverage by a good bit. While the texts don't reveal too much (other than I'd bet my life she has some daddy issues), the contact name a lot of the texts were under gave me a good laugh. Once again proved power and a bit of name recognition can level the game.

This has happened a few times in the past couple of years in New York.

The weirdest one was where my district's assemblyman was caught in a sexual harassment situation with some young intern talking about her hands (really). He wasn't forced to resign but his electoral career was basically torpedoed after that.

Having met and worked with the man personally, I was not really surprised. He was rather odd.

Edit: Also yeah, these guys need to learn not to fucking text. Governor Cuomo has a system where he and all the top people working for him communicate only with a Blackberry system that leaves absolutely no trail. When it's erased, it's erased permanently. This is one of the reasons why no one can touch him, even as two of the top three politicians in the state have been toppled this year and it's only May.

Pro Tip: Use a burner phone, Give girls a fake name something you will remember and instinctively respond to. I use my father's first name as my first name, and his middle name as my last name, this way if she Googles my fake name there is no internet footprint. I do not know about you guys but lately a lot of women ask for my first and last name, but by planning ahead I thwart them at the pass. I would caution against texting but these days it is unavoidable, I have even tried telling girls to call me because it is my work phone and monitored, but they still text me anyway.

I think that's better than nothing but this guy was giving specific details about where he was and had been (Munich, Germany) and where they met, were going, etc. So I think since even if he destroyed the burner phone she still would still have the conversations on her phone and lots of data in it could identify him as the other party.

Of course with the burner phone its much less likely to be traced and discovered by the paparazzi I'd guess since they would not know who he was so it's better than using your own personal mobile for sure. But it would not protect you against a predatory woman looking to become famous or bring a man down.

DC Rooshers who work in politics can confirm this, but I've worked on the Hill and this is precisely why some male politicians on the Hill will not be alone with female staffers.
