First segment on the women's rights movement (1848-1920)
I firmly believe that if you all understood what women went through to get where they are today you all would have a different opinion of women; albeit there are many things that need to change that haven't for women to truly be equal in today's society such as the wage issue.

I will be sharing an article with you today and what better day considering today is mother's day Idea! I hope everyone's opinions towards women here haven't effected their relationships with their mothers.

This segment will cover the time period from 1848-1920. There will be multiple segments and I will start off slowly so I don't bombard you with too much information Smile

please be respectful as I have taken time out of my busy day to do this-thanks! If you disagree do so politely and please state why.

http://history.house.gov/Exhibitions-and...ns-Rights/

please copy the URL above, read the article, and discuss Smile

I will be back later tonight to write about what I took from the article and what moved me.

wow that is a creepy smiley face!

RE: First segment on the women's rights movement (1848-1920)
Feminism came about because women were dissatisfied with their role in life. It was boring to them and they lacked fulfillment.

They didn't know what the answer was to that eternal question,

"What is it about life there always seems to be something missing?" - Epictetus

They didn't know so they looked at the closest thing that was opposite of their own existence, Men.

Since a man's life was completely opposite of a woman's and a woman was miserable, he must have it good. He leaves the house, makes the money, makes the decisions. He has Power, and I do not. I want Power. That's the answer.

However, women didn't know that to be masculine in the world goes agains the grain of being feminine. To be masculine is to be a self-inteerested ego, to take action in the world, to fight with the others and win for yourself and your family.

All of this goes against the grain of being feminine which hails their should be no egotism/self-interest in the world. That we should all be the same, no one higher or lower, in status or wealth. The political manifestation of this feminine principle is Socialism/Communism. The opposite being Capitalism where one rises above the others based on merit (which is the much-hated-today masculine principle).

The term "Feminism" is a misnomer because it's all about being masculine in the world. Problem is women don't know the first thing about what it means to be a developed masculine because they are women. It's not unlike a cat trying to be a dog. There are even YouTube videos lauding such.

So we see women now running around like characters out of a "Kill Bill" or "Porky's" movie.

McCoy, that's where feminism came from. A self-interested desire to have Power for themselves, and that's all fine but don't make them out to be some kind of oppressed victim for the past 7,000 years.

Finally, women really do make the same as men in wages. In fact most human resource departments are run by women. If a woman isn't making the same as her co-worker it's because she hasn't had the "balls" to demand a raise. It's understandable she doesn't because she would then have to admit she really is a self-interested person (an ego) making demands on others for herself. That goes against the grain of the feminine principle (no egotism).

Female leaders know this which is why they try to pass legislation to force employers to give raises to women without them ever having to ask or switch jobs, etc. In other words, so they can enjoy the benefits that come with being masculine without actually having to be masculine.

99.9 percent of American combat deaths were men.

Why do women's rights activists never complain about that imbalance.

RE: First segment on the women's rights movement (1848-1920)
Also, McCoy, how do you fix the problem of young women getting more attention than older women?

Obviously, this is inequality.

Should we, by law, force men to look at each woman in his line of sight for an equal amount of time?

Also, what about the fact that beautiful women get more attention from men than fat women their same age.

Should we force beautiful women to cut their face up to make them equal?

Do you see how equality is an impossible quest, which, is used by people to inflict pain and suffering on others for their own perceived victimhood?

Edit: if its a woman, boobs plz

We should get something of value from this sordid episode.

I suggest that from now on, a McCoy should be the new forum term for selling out your platoon for a cheap piece of cunt.

Typical usage: to pull a McCoy on your pals = to betray them for a worthless female, to sell them out for some dumb mediocre broad.

McCoy, do you prefer more length or girth on the strap-on your girlfriend uses to peg you?

Is it more pleasurable to have it vibrate when it's all the way up there against your prostate?

Do you orgasm from penetration alone or do you need to be milked?

I want to learn about your life experiences so that I can have empathy for others!

Hey I think this is awesome. If we can't have intelligent discussions about defending our beliefs on feminism then we've got no business bitching about it.

Right on McCoy! Glad you're back!

Personally, I was at one point a "white knight". I've come to belive that the mindset I had was naive. Now I think from the way OP posts that he's got some great points and we should be able, as a group, to explain why we think he is wrong...or at least incorrect about certain things.

I'll have to get to my computer before I can give a good response but I do think that it's good to have a guy here who can be a dissenter.

Edit: I'm confident that he'll soon see the error of his ways.

It seems to me, if you have to look as far as a government-hosted piece of agitprop on the history of feminism to find anything nice to say about women, then you are damning the fairer sex by faint praise, and are perhaps the true misogynist amongst us. Seriously, what kind of weak-ass family do you have? Because I could name pretty much any close female relative of mine, and describe a woman who worked hard, and sacrificed a great deal to bring up a good, strong family.

Christ, if I wanted to think better of women, the last thing I would read is a tract on feminism. No matter the era, vagina-based political agitation is the field of bored, rich women; the most insipid breed of human at every point in history.

Bear in mind, whilst this elite section of female society was contemplating how best to agitate for more, their working-class sisters were working (and dying) alongside children in no small number in the mines, or experiencing the joys of "phossy jaw" from 14-hour workdays in the match factory.

Pull your head out of the sand, and unwind the vice from your balls, McCoy; there's a lot to appreciate in women, but your post rings pallid and inauthentic.
