Yvette Cooper



Now that her husband Ed Balls has lost his seat, Yvette has plans to send him to the kitchen whilst she plays with the big boys. This genderless automaton has been a minister for ten years without the public noticing she exists.


Chuka Umunna



Chuka has positioned himself well as the candidate best placed to destroy the Labour party. A privately educated former City lawyer with close links to Tony Blair, he is a staunch defender of big business, immigration and the EU. He has the unique ability to alienate every part of the electorate as he is right wing enough to piss of the left, posh and metropolitan enough to piss off everyone outside of London and African enough to piss of the cultural conservatives.


Andy Burnham



A Scouser who looks like a puppet. Burnham voted for the Iraq war, supported forcing all British citizens to carry ID cards and as Heath Secretary privatised parts of the NHS, before using his time in opposition to speak out against the Tories privatising the NHS. Last ran for leader in 2010 and was deemed an inferior candidate to Miliband and Balls, but is now the favourite!


Dan Jarvis



A former army officer in the Parachute Regiment, Dan has served in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq and received an MBE for his exploits. An ordinary man from Nottingham who would be palatable to normal people and have a good chance of being elected, Dan has no chance of being chosen by the Labour party.


Liz Kendall



Boring, annoying woman that has been called a "Blairite."

Tristram Hunt



The public school educated son of a Baron, and a lecture in History at a London university, Tristram was parachuted in to the seat of Stoke-on-Trent against the wishes of the local Labour party. A man who crossed a picket line to teach his students Marxism, Tristram believes he is the man to lead the party of organised labour.

Mikado, I'm glad that you're finding it reasonably interesting. However, did you know that (as I gather from your previous posts on threads) as a black muslim, you would actually be expected to vote for the Labour party. They wouldn't even bother to come knocking on your door to talk to you, they would just expect your vote. This is the stage identity politics has gotten to.

It's the same in France. You are just expected to vote for the Left if you are an immigrant. And... Most immigrants do.

I think most of them just don't understand how politics work. They just choose the party that preaches the most tolerance and anti-racism.
On the other hand, what are you supposed to do between

-The Far Right (Front National) who openly wants to kick immigrants out of the country (I won't debate this on itself). The problem is that they reject all the country's issues on them. They do not focus on the economic disaster left by Sarkozy and currently Holland, they primarily use the immigration threat to incite poorer classes to vote for them. Going as far as making a list of supposed Muslims in Beziers (the town of a Front National mayor) based on their first name, then using this to say "there are too many muslims in some French cities".


-The right (UMP, center-right) who wants to short-circuit the Far Right on immigration issues, and basically use the same tactics now.

-The left, who preaches (too much) about anti-racism, and acceptance of others, but ruins economically the country.

I don't have the right to vote yet, but for all of this I think I would just mind my own business and not even bother voting for all these puppets.

I think it's the same for many of you.

It definitely does seem though that if Scotland breaks away from the union, Labour is doomed unless they promote even more immigration, a strategy which may not even work and only doom them even more if it does not.

It's an interesting demographic setup, because in the US it's almost the exact opposite. The supposedly conservative party seems like it can't win nationally anymore and will increasingly become an entrenched opposition group. Labour seems to be facing the same fate, except it's the supposedly liberal party.

But a thirty-six-year old man having a girlfriend? That sets off alarm bells.

We should just judge him on his policies, I hear you say. Fine if that is what you want to do – knock your socks off. I will be judging him on the fact that he introduces the electorate to his girlfriend and not wife, thanks all the same. I have form for this, you should know.

I know what is going through your mind, namely do I have some arbitrary cut off point for the girlfriend-wife thing? Yes, I do and the absolute deadline is 35 unless they have only been together for 6 months. Then they get a year. After that it is decision time.

This issue is relevant to me because it indicates what type of character Mr Umunna is and indeed has been.

If Mr Umunna has been dragging his heels over his decision to get hitched it means one of three things. It could mean he is lazy and is not bothered with getting married; it could mean he is unromantic and ‘does not see the point of getting married’ (as is the way in the hip liberal North London set); or, he is a narcissist and he thinks no woman is really good enough for him. None of these traits is attractive.

So that is my thumbs down for Chuka I am afraid, unless he can persuade me otherwise. And I doubt he can.

As soon as I saw her I knew there'd be a reaction to the sight of a slick black politician & his moderately pretty blonde girlfriend. It was either gonna be from

a) Like the above woman chastising Chuka for not manning up long ago & shackling himself to some broad like a good little boy

b) From a bunch of bitter sistahs angry at the sight of an eligible black man preferring the company of a white woman over one of his own.

c) Conversely racists upset that an uppity black man is stealing one of their women.

d) which was more or less my feelings about all this is overcompensation. That this is one of the more elaborate beards i've ever seen which makes me think Chuka really is, you know Everyone kinda thought he was beforehand anyway

A great article from someone who sees that economic and social liberalism, policed by the howling SJW has destroyed the labour movement in the UK. The unions cannot rescue the Labour Party as they are more interested in transgender WCs in the workplace and the right of LGBT...n victims to wave rainbow flags at work.

For the working man who has the tax burden, financial burden and family burden on his shoulder? There is nothing in West for such a citizen.

The Republicans control everything except the presidency.

When they stop nominating moderate dullards like McCain and Romney, they will seize that as well. And they have a few good candidates to do that, none of whom are named Bush, Rubio, Christie, Carson, or Huckabee.

When was the last time the champion of the proletariat was called Tristram? I'm voting for Burnham. He has the highest media profile now Chukka "I'll lick out Tony Blairs shitty bumhole" has withdrawn. Truth is though, they are all a bunch of non-entities. Labour is doomed.

Burnham when health secretary sold off an NHS Trust to Circle. Yet he's apparently the Labour Left choice. He's a Blairite too.
