RE: Bulgaria????
I got my BG flag in the states years ago, and have toured the whole country this past Fall. I've found the younger generations' (under 40) English proficiency to be very good. As far as the ladies go, I didn't see much quality talent on the streets, but whenever I entered any establishment (bar, restaurant, hotel, gym, etc.) the level of quality of the women working there was quite good. Any woman that greeted you or served you was at least pleasing on the eyes, if not, very good looking. If you want to see the stunners or the top shelf designer pussy, I'd recommend checking out one of the folk clubs. Pick-up isn't so easy here, and there isn't really a hook-up culture like there is back in the states. I'm not saying it's not possible, or a ONS, but from what I noticed and speaking to my BG friends, it's more of a relationship and social circle culture.

RE: Bulgaria????
I've lived in Sofia for two years. I don't enjoy regular night game anymore (got one bang from that here, but not a SNL, just a number and then a date) so it's mostly been online dating for me, though finally starting to get over my approach anxiety and do occasional daygame.
So far I've had to work a lot harder for my lays here than I was used to back in my native Denmark. I was used to primarily same night lays from nightgame and parties during my late teens and twenties, and still picking up somewhat regularly in bars during the first half of my 30s (with no formal game knowledge).
I've gone out to bars and clubs with a few local friends maybe 15 times or so in total here in Sofia - plus a bit more if you count solo summer trips to the coast - but aside from not enjoying it much anymore at my age, it's generally a lot tougher here with social circle and tables, standing or sitting, making it harder to open or isolate in many places.
I'm not satisfied with the quality I can get from online dating here. Responses from women under 30 are rare for me (three of the mid 20s girls I've gone out with were however my easiest lays here yet, though still not first date lays but second or third). And the never-married women in their 30s are mostly not interested in what I have to offer - usually probably (wisely) discarding me because I seem like questionable relationship material.
I've had a bit more luck with single mothers in their 30s.
Over all bad ratios, and mediocre quality, for me on dates from online though - only banged around one in seven (each between one and six times) I've been out with these last two years here.
I get plenty of IOIs on a daily basis from women aged ~20 to 40+, so daygaming should definitely be the way to go for me.
And plenty of good places to do it here in Sofia I think - the main shopping street perhaps not necessarily the best place, but lots of attractive girls pretty outside the main center and in the malls (do note that there's a stupid number of malls in Sofia compared to the amount of people with the income to actually shop in them, so several of the largest and newest can be ghost towns on week days. Mall of Sofia in the center is the most reliable in terms of people, though also one of the smaller malls).
English capabilities are a bit of a mixed bag here. Lots of people who do speak English ranging from poor to fluent, but also many young people in their 20s who speak virtually no English at all, despite supposedly having learned it in school. I'm sure some girls have just used it as an easy rejection on me, but it also applies to eg. friendly, young cashiers in stores I visit regular who try to chat a bit with me in Bulgarian, but can't string even basic sentences together in English (ie. their English seems even worse than my Bulgarian)

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the table set-up at the bars/club. That was one of main complaints about approaching/gaming. There really aren't dedicated dance floor areas or post up areas in the clubs. It's essentially a sea of tables, where a bunch of mini private parties are going on, not conducive to mingling at all. The BG women it seems to me tend to really value their reputation that's why I think receiving social proof and being accepted into the circle will help out a lot. However, I did noticed that the BG women when in the states are quite loose when their reputation isn't at stake. My one BG flag stated, "I would never behave like this at home."

Yeah, I've never heard that one before from a girl!
MikeS - you don't seem very happy there. Why don't you move somewhere else?

I'm quite happy with everything else - love the nature (coming from a flat country the mountains here keep impressing me), the low prices, the mostly friendly people in general, the close proximity to other good vacation destinations - besides the relative difficulty I've had with dating.
But at 38 and no longer remotely interested in frequent nightlife outings (excluding taking dates to bars or cafés), there's no going back to my glory days of fairly regular one night stands from clubs anyway (ironically back in my pre-game, blue pill days), even if I move back to a country where more girls put out quicker than here.
And I have myself to blame for chickening out on daygame until recently, and still not doing it nearly often enough, and sticking to sub-par online dating, which for me here is definitely not - even with Tinder - a way to get easy hook-ups, as it might be in some other countries (my six weeks in Thailand last year were, predictably, quite different in that regard for instance. But moving out of Europe is not currently a viable option for me for personal reasons.)
