Do you think a woman finds it flattering or creepy if you acknowledge that you know her name without being formally introduced?

This is a question better suited for the newbie forum.

For the sake of you Dark g, this is all related to frame. If you come up to her all deferential then yes it is creepy. However if you walk up and introduce yourself to her confidently then it will come off well.

Personally, I tend to resort towards claiming some form of infamy hence why I know her name. Chicks always get a little dread when they think people have been talking negatively behind their backs.

Don't tell her that. It can have no benefit to you. You are not trying to prove yourself to her, you want her to have the feeling that she needs to prove herself to you.

I never ask a woman her name first. I always get her to ask me.

I really like the moment 5 or 10 minutes into an interaction when a woman asks my name. It is a strong indication of interest, and I usually end up with the bang at that point.

I think this forum has a gentlemen's agreement when it comes to the use of the word "creepy:" don't fucking use it!

But anyway, I always err on the side of caution and let people tell me their names even if I already know them. Why introduce variables into your game that could fuck it up? Just go up, talk to her and at some point ask for her name. Then you can start calling her by her name, I think any other method introduces variables that can fuck you up for no reason. Women are irrational and something as silly as knowing her name could make her go, "omg this creepy guy came up to me and started calling me by my name before I even introduced myself!!!!! wTtffff"

If she finds you attractive, you can pick your nose and it still looks sexy. I speak from experience. I think the girl said its "hot" or "nonchalant" or other dumb shit.
or watch her sleep at night, twillight stalker style.

If she does not find you attractive, holding the door for her is creepy.

At the end, who gives a fuck what she thinks?
