The blog post focuses on what is obvious to us -- men look for different things in wives than traits they want their daughters to possess (Men want attractive, non-independent wives less likely of frivolously divorcing them, while wanting their daughters to be independent and not necessarily attractive)

Poor fathers are also part of the slooty women phenomena.

If I have a daughter, I want her to behave, know how to dress/be pretty, know how to take care of herself, and be pleasant so she can attract a man who will take care of her.
