You've got a girl at your place. You're making out on the couch in the living room. How do you (smoothly) move her to the bedroom, minimizing the chance of resistance on her part?

Thoughts:
1. Get up and simply lead her there.
2. Escalate where you are.
3. Avoid the situation in the first place. Pull the girl straight to the bedroom, assuming that if she's OK with hanging out at your place with no one else around, she has already accepted that sex is a likely outcome.
4. Have a flimsy excuse to bring her to the bedroom. Something like "Let's watch [movie]." or "You have to see my [whatever]."

(1) is what I did, and it worked, but I could imagine it not working if the girl had some doubts. I could imagine a girl resisting (3) also.

As for (2), I don't know about you guys but a regular size couch, that's a little small. I'm tall.

As for (4), I currently don't have much of anything in my bedroom other than my bed. Both my TV and speakers are out in my living room. From the bedroom, you can hear music playing in the living room from the speakers, but it's not very loud.

I'd make out with her on the couch, and probably just fuck her there. However, it's not a big deal to just pick her up (if you're being playful) and take her to the bed. You could also just take her hand and lead her... not such a big deal. She understands what's going on and probably wants it as well.

You don't say anything, you simply take her by the hand and lead her there. Its actually better than staying on the couch because once she's followed you to the bedroom the gears in her head will shift to something more serious than just kissing. Plus, its part of foreplay, the anticipation. Somehow it just seems to work - like you said Zorgon - it just works, for some reason it makes sense to girls.

And if she's politely declines because its not the right time, you affirm to her that its OK with you, and just try and gently to do it again on your next date (or later on if the vibe gets sexual). She'll end up there sooner or later.
