Comey looks very unprofessional at this juncture. He looks stupid as fuck, yet again, pissing off any side with a dog in the fight.
All he is doing is making a mess that good lawyers will use to show potential misconduct and bias, should she or her gang ever see charges in the future.
If he did not know what he had in that 650K, he should have directed a small team to review that for the email server case quietly, then only if they found anything, speak up about needing to reopen the case. If they found nothing, no big deal.
What he just did, is the same shit us older guys jump on younger guys in corporate or IT in general. Don't raise alarms unless you have something, and all your facts are straight. Every year, time and time again, some dude under 30, not long out of college thinking that he is hot shit, will get all excited over some shit he found, and will try to blow a bullhorn over it in front of even a director.
Guys like that, have to learn how to work within the group, and not drag the group down by looking unpolished or unprofessional.
At least they are young and that is their excuse. Comey is older than me. What's his fucking excuse? Nothing screams, "I'm an incompetent prick" more than going back and forth to the water well. Do shit like this in a decent Fortune 500 company like Comey, and you would be on the street in no time flat.
This shit looks like amateur hour at the Apollo.
If he thinks he is gonna arrest her or folks in her gang, later over some different shit, he better hope Trump is president, because that will not be happening. Unless he does it today or tomorrow, it's null and void.
He has to either be ball-less or clueless and I cannot figure out which one it is. Maybe it's both. This country really could use some Davy Crockett-like men, because some things are just bigger than your own life and your family's immediate well being. Plenty are willing, but almost no one has any power or position of authority close to like what ol' Davy had. Real men make sacrifices and there does not seem to be any left in our government.
Quote:“Not all sociopaths wield knives and knotted cords. Some wear suits, and are exceptionally intelligent and articulate, obsessively driven, and are able to use and undermine the law and the rules for their advantage, like weapons. It is never about the win, never about the money. It is about the kill, the expression of their hatred, about elevating themselves with the suffering of others. Bind, torture, kill. Not only with ropes and knives, but also with power and money, and the subversion of law. Lawlessness is their addiction, their will to power.
When societies become lax and complacent, these sociopaths can possess great political power through great amounts of unprincipled money. And over time they become almost anti-human, destroyers of all that is good, all that is life, all that offends their insatiable sickness with its goodness. They twist the public against itself, and turn a broad sweep of society into their killing grounds. This is the undeniable lesson of the last century. There are monsters, and they walk among us.”
The email thing, while unfortunate that Comey decides to cuck out at the last minute, is still a net negative for the Dems. They probably lost some votes because of it. I'm sure they would have liked if Comey didn't say anything about reopening in the first place.
Comey could have come out before Sunday and said the investigation isn't going ahead but he didn't. He is fighting 2 factions within the FBI. Did he forsee Obama getting a pardon for her?
I don't see how his position could be changed because he is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He is fighting for his own legacy, FBI factions, the DOJ, the Clintons and POTUS himself. Its easy to say we need someone to step up and sacrifice themselves, their friends and family for the good of a country but who are we to say that?
If someone is going to do it we won't hear about it till later. I'm going to say lets wait and see. As you have said Travelerkai, the Feds are inseparable from politicians and Comey is a perfect example of that quality.
I was expecting the FBI to sit and not announce anything till after the election. All this does is smell like BS and likely that Obama once again was in his ear to get something out to "balance the narritive". Staying quiet would give the assumption they are hard at work and would dead the poltival bias attacks on them.
The media will saver rattle for Comey''s head and be thankful for this distraction to not talk about Trump essentially being the front runner now with news of Michigan being tied.
I don't trust the Clinton Foundation work to be kosher with rats who are dodgy being in the control seats of that investigation. To many heads will fall from that, only if Trump wins will we get the truth on that.
Back to Obama, look at him having to haul ass for that old bag. He looming more grey and weak, dude clocking more air miles this past week then he had to in 2012. Clintons must have him whipped as they continue to fuck him on things. He's been trying to cut off from them for years but they still make him fetch the water for them.
His legacy is fucked whomever wins on Tuesday. He is silly to think Hillary going to keep anything he got going.

[EDIT]
I think this dispiriting news is OK. Comey is simply announcing that Email server indictment news isn't coming soon. The Clinton Foundation investigation is deeper and more serious - or at least unmarred by politics - and still ongoing.
This is political window dressing: it allows the FBI to save "face" and let a vital and imminent presidential election process to play out.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, present polls are close to ties. The IBS/TIPP poll (I think) says 12% of the people are still wavering or "undecided."
Traditionally, undecided vote breaks to the "outsider" nd that is Trump, who is also seen by 5% (or 8%? I forget, {sinusitis}) as more trustworthy, too. And better on the economy.
And I've read that late-deciders are already, measurably, breaking for Trump.
If so, then Trump will win - barring a crucial close state tie-up with desperate Democrat voter fraud....

That is what I thought was going to happen as well.
You are right about Obama and his legacy. Hillary or not, it will not change much from a historian's perspective. However, now that we know Citibank and a few others owns his ass, he is working hard for his masters bidding...
He only cares about his pocket book. A trump win would possibly mean that he would have to be low key as fuck on speaking engagements and his retirement plan of having a foundation raking in pay for play, would either have to wait until Trump is gone, or not be able to do it.

True, but look closer - focus on the barcode and read it.
It's like saying Hillary officially won the election even though November 8 isn't here yet.
Instead of newsworthy news mags or books, at my grocery store I see themed picture magazines - featuring history of Empire (eg, NatGeo) or commemoratives of dead boomer icons, or sometimes the temporarily "newsworthy" like sHillary.
John Pilger: "The Saudis, the Qataris, the Moroccans, the Bahrainis, particularly the first two, are giving all this money to the Clinton Foundation, while Hillary Clinton is secretary of state, and the State Department is approving massive arms sales, particularly Saudi Arabia."
Julian Assange: "Under Hillary Clinton – and the Clinton emails reveal a significant discussion of it – the biggest-ever arms deal in the world was made with Saudi Arabia: more than $80 billion. During her tenure, the total arms exports from the US doubled in dollar value."
John Pilger: "Of course, the consequence of that is that this notorious jihadist group, called ISIL or ISIS, is created largely with money from people who are giving money to the Clinton Foundation?"
^^^ I had no idea John Pilger did that interview!
I will have to watch it now when I get a chance.
This election cycle as relinked me to a bunch of dudes who helped me get woke. I used to watch all of Pilger's documentaries. The one that sticks out was the one on the shady working and trade practices in Indonesia and how it sold out to the West for nickles.
Folks like Pilger and Bill Still were Rouge before it was cool. They were the first ones really uncovering the status quo as a complete scam as far back as the 90s.

This isn't good news and we can't ignore the fact that this will boost her.
Let's hope Trump wins in two days. Otherwise it's not looking good. It won't necessarily be right away but they will attempt to purge us and anyone who supported Trump with attacks like we haven't seen before. I don't like to be doom and gloom, but the writing is on the wall.
Assange must be mad about the FBI, just dumped over 8,000 emails. But they are all DNC, don't know what would be in these. Reddit has found one where Wolf Blitzer is asking DNC operatives for question ideas for his Trump interview which should hurt CNN a bit but we will see what else get dug up
Will there be a big sigh of relief from people going "great now I can finally go vote for her.. the FBI has renewed my confidence!"
The damage has been done. What the FBI did last week was bring a dead story and narrative back to life and remind Americans HRC is a crooked little shit.
This will have zero impact on people or polls. 90% of people have made up their minds, and true undecided folks at this time are idiots. What is going to sway someone in the next 48 hours?
All that is happening now is the mobilization to ensure turnouts are strong. Energy rallies to make sure people are committed to go out and vote.
The polls will still shift towards Trump tomorrow. They will be all tied up in the narrative going into Tuesday.
Well, on the bright side of the FBI decision today, now the Democrats will only have Russia to blame for FIXING the election *WHEN* Trump wins on Tuesday!
