Well there's this thread for Preventative Medicine & there is also an existing thread for The Rational Male.

What did you get out of it?

The first thing is the desire to reread the books. There are so many things to absorb from the books, there is no way one can absorb everything through one read.

The main thing I learnt is that Game must be carried through into relationships. There is no rest from Game or ensuring that there is a buffer of 2 SMV points between the man and his woman. Hypergamy is the greatest risk to the modern relationship and therefore needs to be managed.

I read it with the fresh memories of being monkey-branched by a woman who said that she wanted to marry me and have my children every day. Until I read these books, I didn't understand how a woman could go from this level of intensity to tweeting after sex selfies with a married colleague whose job she wanted.

I also took great hope in why the Lonely Old Man ™ and the Mid-Life Crisis ™ are myths to scare men into provider roles.

I've bought both books printed. I downloaded the first one as a pdf somewhere a year ago and didn't really read it cover to cover. But I'm going to do that during my vacation. I want to give Rollo credits, the material is no-nonsense.
I'm a bit tired of the PUA books.

This writer just has a more mature outlook on male/female dynamics.

I've "swallowed the red pill" a couple years ago now, and my beliefs only get stronger, however I'm not the type of "MGTOW" guy who wants to avoid women". And Rollo has just the advice for these kind of men. It's not about hating women, or taking advantage of them. It just describes their nature and the psychology from both men and women regarding sex and relationships.
