Three quarters of men would turn down first-date sex

The Jewish loser in DC thread sounds like the kind of guy this survey spoke to.

Women were most likely to hold off telling their partner they loved them until the fourth month of dating.

And while three quarters of men said they would be comfortable saying “I love you” first, less than half of women would do the same.

Men are also ready to introduce a new partner to their parents and update their Facebook status to “in a relationship” earlier than women, according to the poll – doing both after an average of eight dates.

Richard Longhurst, co-owner of LoveHoney, the sex-toy firm which commissioned the survey, said: “[Men] are keener to tell their partner they love them but also to outwardly recognise this commitment by changing their Facebook status and introducing their loved one to their parents.

“Women are a little more wary – preferring to take their time before revealing similar levels of commitment.”

He added: “I think what is encouraging is that British men's stiff upper lip seems to have disappeared completely. They are prepared to be far more open about their feelings and tell their partner their true feelings. That has to be good thing.”

I knew that most of my modern day compatriots were mammy-pamby-faggottass-mummysboy-pathetic-limpdicked excuses for men...but 75%!!!

'A poll' huh. I love how the origin of the data is always glossed over, as though the discussion is the most important bit, and facts just get in the way of a good story. I think they are missing a bit of fine-print info at the bottom:

Would be nice if they showed how they worded the questions in this "poll".

No red-blooded male would "turn down" first date sex with a girl who at least passed the boner test. Now, if the question was worded as "Would you want to sleep with someone on the first date?" then that may trigger them like a Manchurian candidate: "No my sexual desires are shame-worthy and I would not ever attempt to get into a woman's pants unless she explicitly asked me and expressed consent via written documentation."

At a glance - men are thirsty and women are socially distant on-purpose.

I am inclined to believe it.

Even through all the wisdom that surrounds us, most men are still hoping to find a traditional girl and the fools think that if they dont fuck them on the first night then the women are not sluts.

But yeah, we are the 25%. Unfortunately (fortunately?) women are 75% WBFN (would bang first night)

Nah there aren't 25% of "us".

By the time you've removed all the guys that would have sex on the first night and are left with the guys that know how to have it, we are down to a tiny %.

I made a few girls wait.

I would think that 75% would not try for sex on the first date, but would go along with it if the women makes the moves.

Also polls mean nothing. I can "prove" that nobody masturbates with the right wording of the question and an astute timing.

I think your right with it being French. Love is a type of score in Tennis, a racket and ball game founded in France. Must be some pretty boring individuals if they talk about Tennis within the first month. Those dates must suck!

That Survey only proves that 75% of British men lie on surveys. Given a choice a bet almost all of them would go for the same date lay. We brits are perceived as being reserved but frankly that just sounds made up.

I doubt it - even with all that indoctrination men would still fuck away. But I believe that 75% of men were never offered sex on the first date, so I guess in a way they happen to like what they get.

It's similar to the "majority" of men preferring "curvy" women. IF you cannot get others you lower your expectations.

They should filter for Testosterone levels when doing the polls. Bet the ones that said no are essentially women chemically.

Hardly scientific or worthy of serious consideration.

British men are incredibly thirsty. I've had success online simply by not being thirsty and standing out from the crowd that way. Many women complain about men just asking for sex(no game at all), and many respond very positively to being gamed.

They would all take first date sex if they could get it, but most don't know how to.

I think this is more journalistic bad practice. There is absolutely no way 75% of men would 'turn down' sex on a first date. I bet in the poll they asked a question like 'Would you expect to have sex on the first date', and then in the article changed it to men 'turning down sex'.

More for me anyway. A poll at 10 pm on a Saturday night probably isn't going to be representative. Is the poll adjusted for age? Most normal blokes are probably either out or watching Match of the Day on a Saturday night.

I posted a link to the survey. It was run buy a company that sells sex toys and related products. There was a a couple of prizes for whoever was picked from random.

I find it confusing that people aren't more honest when doing a fairly anonymous poll. Surely any red-blooded male would be happy with first date sex. It cuts out a lot of bullshit and wasted time.
