I know white socks are out, so what color do you guys default to? I assume black, but are there any other colors that are acceptable?

I'm not sure if diamond socks are in but they go well with shoes..

RE: Nice shoes
Shoes are very very important b/c ladies do notice them. Athletic running shoes are for the gym or the basketball court.

The Gucci loafer is timeless style but you must have the wardrobe to wear with it.

Clark's makes some really nice shoes and the Wallabees have an edge to them.

I am into the whole redwing boot thing right now, I have upgraded from Timberland's. lol

I ordered some Aldo slip ons yesterday (didn't have my size) for $80. Kind of pissed me off because I saw some real nice Stacy Adam slip ons for cheaper while leaving the mall. I might just return the Aldo's and buy the Stacy Adams

I think I'm going to get these, when I purchase my next pair of "nice" shoes. Never rocked boat shoes before, but I think they can look dope with the right outfit. Pimp

anyone rocking cowboy boots? If so, what kind of feedback do you get?

I think they are a timeless look, especially here in the south.

yeah I think Randy Travis and Kenny Rogers are still rocking them but unless you're a country singer or on the pbr tour you probably should avoid.

Finally got the aldo's in the mail and they're nice. I might have to take them to the mall and compare them next to stacy adams. I can't wait to wear these or the stacy's, I know girls are going to give compliments

I still wear cowboy boots. Aussie/U.K. girls dig that shit. You need the attitude/style to make them work, though.

For around $100 I would check out Cole Haan on sale/discount outlet.

Outside of that I like Ferragamo/Alden for formal and Common Projects for hipster fun.

Alden all the way. Indy 403s and Suede Chukkas baby! Good rule of thumb is not to spend less than 400$ on a pair of shoes/boots, unless they are for fitness or recreation of course.

I dig dress shoes, but most of them hurt the front ball padding-thing of my foot after awhile. It feels like my bone is scraping pavement. Eco's are good for style and comfort.

Bro, those Clarks are dope! Always wanted a shoe like that, but never really where/what to get. When I get back from Thailand I am gettin a pair. I dig the sand color.

I usually rock all white shoes, but I think these ones are killer.

I would rock these if they were white/black, but these are actually metallic, and that just aint me lol.

These are my riding boots (Dayton), and rain boots. Also the boots I wear when I don the leather and denim and hit my rocky mountain country home roots.

I wear these in the summer (Timberland), when I wear shorts (during daylight hours only), and of course, no socks.

These are pretty dope (Gucci).

But I will probably end up with these for the coming summer (Timberland).
[Image: timberland-costa-dorada-boat-shoe-2.jpg]

I had these made some years ago. Church's out of England. Quality is unreal, and should be for £400. Nobody ever compliments a man on his wingtips, but wearing them feels so good it is translated into body language.

These are my go to jeans casual shoe (Clae). These get more compliments than any other shoe I have owned (I don't know why). They are ok, but after my first week wearing them I went back to the shop and bought another pair to put away for when my current pair gets worn out.

My Allen Edmond Strands. They really are dope.

When they wear out I will send them back to be recrafted. Excellent quality, made in USA.
