It's been asserted repeatedly that it's possible for a guy to date up in Poland, but I was curious as to whether this phenomenon is as readily observable in neighbouring Czech Republic and Slovakia. Would it pass Roosh's "Busted Dudes Test", i.e., can you frequently see better looking girls with uglier guys on the street there?

They do, but only slightly. I think it has more to do with girls from those regions being so good-looking on average rather than the good game of local guys though.

Yes, I've wondered myself whether the possibility of guys dating up there might not have less to do with the poor quality of the men (in comparison to, say, the UK or Australia) but more to do with the supply side of the equation, i.e., the fact that the average looks of the women there appear to be so much higher than in western Europe.

Any ideas on how the situation there compares with that in England?

Yes - the busted dude test is valid there, but the new generation of men are getting more good-looking and taller - similarly to Poland. But still men from Italy, Norway, Switzerland - where many are tall and good-looking are thoroughly in the minority in EE. However I found that a good part of it is how presentable and slim the girls are.

I spend at least a few weeks each year in Slovakia with my Slovak girlfriend (we live in England). I see both the capital Bratislava and the rural eastern villages and towns, where you won't find any foreigners.

I'd definitely say guys date up. And that's kind of expected too, and seen as the natural order of the universe. Women are supposed to be hotter and put effort into their appearance.

It's in stark contrast to what I see in England where I consistently see chubby, slovenly 5/6s with good looking guys. Depressing.

I'm also resident in the U.K. at the moment, languishing in the north east of England near Middlesbrough and can't wait to get the hell out of here for Slovakia, as it happens. Although I've never visited Slovakia, what you say seems to be confirmed from looking at some social media sites featuring images of Slovak women, where the average woman would be a 7/8 on the HB scale by UK standards.

As for the UK, oh my God yes, I know where you're coming from. Words honestly fail me at how often I'm seeing tall, decent-looking guys - and smartly dressed at that - with overtly fat girls waddling in toe. The only thing I can conclude from this is how little bargaining power guys have in the UK in the dating market, a fact which is confirmed by my own experience over the last few years here. I've also noticed at multiple social venues that I attend how rare it is for a woman between the ages of 18-35 to be single these days. Even the most obese and foul-looking woman seems to be partnered up, while there is invariably a surplus of guys present, myself included, of course. And that's before you address the issue of the personality of these women - their narcissism, shallow materialistic mindset, arrogance, lack of curiosity about the world, et.c. The icing on the cake is that I'm starting to get snubbed on the street (you know, that wonderful English stuck-up bitchy head-flick to the side as a male approaches her) even by landwhales. Even just 5 years ago this would have been unthinkable. Meanwhile, it's an arms race between the guys here to have the most ripped chest, best style and make the most money in order to have a chance at the dwindling stock of slim women. The word "depressing" doesn't do justice to how bad I find it here.

How did you come to find yourself a Slovak girlfriend, may I ask? Did you also reach a point at which you realized the odds were stacked too heavily against you in the UK when fishing for wenches? I'm looking to move to Bratislava later this month, incidentally.

Well put, I'm framing that! I think that neatly summarises the environment in which we find ourselves. People watching in busy places is a thoroughly depressing experience due to all the things you mentioned.

That's a great point about single women; the thirst factor ensures they don't stay that way. I don't remember it always being this way.

How did I meet a Slovak girl? She approached me online actually. I'd just been through a bad break up of a very long relationship. I'd already decided I wanted an eastern European girl. It was only really after we got together got together I started reading game, manosphere, red pill material, and my life started falling into place. I wasn't truly blue pill before, but having everything spelled out was a real eye opener. Life is so much easier for me now. I couldn't go back to having a relationship a strident, bunny boiling British girl now.
