Ideas for a book review blog
Hi guys,

I will create a review site aimed at men, with a focus on books. Self-improvement, philosophy, game, politics, culture. Documentaries.

What would you guys expect from such a site? What would you like to see when you visit the home page? What kind of categorization would be good and what topics will be most interesting? What kind of quick facts would you like in an overview? Do you think that number-ratings are useful - I personally don't and I don't want to put bad books up anyway. Any other ideas?

Generally, it will be something simple, focusing on the benefits and possible dangers that can come from reading a particular book. I'm also thinking about a good model to motivate authors to contribute, maybe pay a small sum and offer a link to their website if the review gets published. What would motivate you to write a review?

Appreciate any input. If somebody has an idea for a cooperation, let me know; the general business model will be affiliate marketing through Amazon Associates etc.

Tom

RE: Ideas for a book review blog
A category for "red pill" fiction books would interest me. The books don't necessarily need to have the "red pill" as a theme. Just books without "strong female characters", protagonist not a white knight or feminist, SJW agendas, realistic relationships, not having every woman a saint and every man evil etc. Authors like Chandler and Fleming. Robert B. Parker having Police Chief Jesse Stone pining over his cheating ex wife for the 4 novels of his I've read is what I don't want (though in defense the author actually seems self aware about it).

I hear you. Good idea. I am also quite fed up with misanthropic nihilism as well as unbelievable Utopia. Personally, I don't know many books that fit into this description - have you read The Last of the Renshai?
