What's up fellas, new here but this forum has given me a new outlook on life and I love the "brotherhood" attitude, I want to contribute! I figure this is as good a place as any to start.


I've been to Vegas 4 weekend in the past 2 months and this weekend will be the 5th (a story for another thread). My advice is don't do vegas on the cheap. If you're going somewhere tropical or to a big city doing it cheap is smart because you'll get the same experience as anyone else pretty much, but not vegas. I'm not talking about food, eat whatever you want, I don't know why that is such a topic in this thread there is cheap quick food everywhere you look, the price difference to what it would cost at home is negligible for the cheap stuff. But if you like gourmet foods and different kinds of them you're missing out on that too. I know this is an extreme example but I was down there for the fight and if I was trying to be cheap we wouldn't have had any fun at all, much less the experience of a lifetime going to that fight and partying like vip rock stars just because we threw some coin around. Vegas works on tips and spending, if you spend and tip you're an automatic god and you will be worshiped. One thing I've learned about vegas that I always though was an exaggeration but I know definitely is not now is that they know how to take care of you.

A better example is staying at the Palms. The two times I went I stayed at the Palms and EVERYTHING was comped even the flight (again a story for another thread). Any penny I spent at the hotel including cabanas, bottles and restaurants was free. But it was boring, the Palms isn't on the strip and even though it's a nice hotel frequented by celebrities, they have a known pool party and bars how much damage are you going to do at a place like that? Same concept with trying to do vegas cheap, yea you'll have fun but you'll also miss out on so much. I started gambling at the cosmo instead and it's a different world, you feel like a god among insects when at the Palms you felt like king of the retards. I know the mentality around here is just get laid, which I'm definitely down with, but vegas is the one place where an ordinary schlub can be a rockstar. Why would you go there to be a schlub? I remember going to hakkasan and xs a few times with booths and people were packed in like sardines I remember thinking "man I feel bad for whoever has to deal with being in that crowd". It's just my opinion but I would save some more cash and do it right, go on a cheap vacation somewhere more conducive to it. Not that you wouldn't have fun but you wouldn't be taking advantage of it at all. Again I'm new here and love a bargain and getting laid but some of the stuff you guys suggest for free drinks and stuff like that would suck the fun out of me. Again my opinion just wanted to give a different view and I'm a Jackass at heart so take it with a grain of salt!

Its actually less than you think. At the Palms, you'd probably need to only wager about $75-100 per hand for 4-6 hours per day of playing to get perks like that. If you're a pretty steady gambler, its not too bad.

While going on big baller weekends is fun, its not doable for everyone. You're looking at like a $2000 swing in how much money you spend on a 3 day bender. If you're doing that 6 times per year (I used to go 10x a year in the early 2000s) its $12,000 extra you're shelling out. And that's being modest, meaning non-dance floor tables, etc. I did this for a while, but after a while you get diminishing returns. It got to a point, where I could go to freaking Europe for a week+ or relax in Hawaii for 4-5 days for what I was spending in 2-3 nights in Las Vegas.

I'm not impressed by the lights and glamour of Vegas since I've been so many times. To me, its just an extension of nightlife in LA. While its obviously nicer to stay in the hot casino with the best ladies, its not necessary to have a fun time.

I don't know about the Palms, but I saw a TripAdvisor thread where a guy who seemed to know how it was calculated said that playing $500 a hand blackjack for four hours/day wouldn't even get you comped at the top restaurants in the Wynn. That comes out to around $100,000/day. My point is that if you are able to drop so much you are more interested in being anonymous than being a king among the ants.

I've stayed at the Palms three times and am pretty familiar with the place, but I'm getting pretty confused by these posts. Are you guys referring to the points which you can get on a Club Palms card which can lead to MVP and eventually Hall of Fame status and can eventually lead to getting comps? The only kind of gambling that I do is at the sportsbooks and I only bet on boxing. Supposedly although the Palms sportsbook is owned by Cantor Gaming (CG), you can supposedly get points on your Club Palms card by gambling at the sportsbook.

You go to a table, the pit boss watches your wagering and rates you based on your time playing and average bet. You can also ask them to keep track of you. The higher and longer you stay, it has a formula where you get comps, credits, entertainment, etc.

Palms is a shitty casino, so its probably not too hard to get a lot of perks thrown at you. There are casino hosts where its their job to "take care of you" so you come back, bet a lot of money, etc. They send you invites to parties, pay for your flights, give you fight tickets, etc. I don't really do this, but a relative of mine was fairly well dialed in to the scene and basically had free rooms or food, which is why I have been able to go so much (I'd roll along with them alot in college and after, they gave me spending money and free anything).

Its a pretty sweet life if you're good at gambling.This is the "Invited Guests" areas at hotel where you see the private rooms next to check in.

From what I understand, when you sit down at a gaming table you can ask to speak to the pit boss and ask him (or her) for details at what rate you need to play to get comps. Be polite, of course. If the pit boss is evasive or condescending, go somewhere else. It could be that at some casinos its better to just stick with the points/rewards program instead of trying to get comps directly from the pit bosses.

Some other cheap tips I found:

Food - If you don't want to do a $25-40 hotel buffet, try the Harley Davidson cafe, on S. Las Vegas blvd, just across from Aria hotel and next to Planet Hollywood mall. Excellent choice of good brunches for around $10-15. Also the Fashion Shopping Mall mentioned above has a food court with a very respectable Mexican fast food joint. You can have a nice meal for less than $10. My normal eating routine was breakfast around midday and the mexican place in early evening. With just these two places you're looking at $30 max per day.

Booze - There's a CVS next to Treasure Island. It's not super cheap, but a whole 1liter bottle of Skyy Vodka ($20) will run you a lot less than a 0.5l bottle from the minibar. I stocked up here on my first night.A must for guys who want to avoid clubs. Both times I was in there I saw groups of girls stocking up for the night. I didn't try it, but there are also a couple of Walgreens on S. Las Vegas Blvd where you can do the same.

Minibar tricks: I always get sugar free red bull and one chick who came to my room wanted a regular Red Bull from the minibar which had 4 regular and 4 sugar free. The next morning I restocked it with one of my sugar-free, so there were 3 and 5 ( the 5th sugar free was behind the 3 regular). When I came back later in the day, there were 4 and 4 again, but at the Cosmopolitain they didn't charge me. When I was staying in the Encore Hotel I didn't try anything because there was a sign that said that any drink pulled out for more than 60secs would be charged and putting your own stuff in there would get a $25 fee (or something like that). I just used the ice bucket to keep my stuff cold. (Christian McQueen style idea: In the Encore the ice room has a door. So if you have a roommate keep that in mind)

Jet-Lag tips: Nowadays I get those little 2 oz "5 hour energy drinks" in the orange-yellow bottle that they have at the check out of drug stores. They really make you go without being tired at all for 5 hours. Works much better than red bull. One girl told me, I bet that's really unhealthy! I was thinking, you only live once and anyway, I'll have a few months to make it up.

Just under $700/day is not cheap for most guys. No bottle service, no Spearmint Rhino and saying no to covert ho's will keep you way under this number.

Let's go high end and assume you eat three meals a day at $70 per meal that's $630.

Then you go to a pool party and a club every day and its the most expensive time of year and they all cost $60. That's $360.

Then assume you're an idiot and don't pregame at all and buy all your drinks at the bar and only get patron. You drink 10 drinks a day at $15 each. That's $450.

Somehow in all this mayhem you still have time to go to Sapphire which has let's just say a $100 entrance fee that Night and you blow $200 on lap dances.

Then you hire an escort every night for $500. That's $1500.

You're up to only $3240 and that's spending money almost as wantonly as is humanly possible. Not to mention this would be almost impossible from a time/energy perspective.

I believe he meant 2 grand for the whole weekend. That's a pretty good time and not having to worry about budgeting too much. You won't be absolutely balling, but you won't be being cheap either, you'll be in that middle zone where you don't care about dropping 25 bucks for a sandwhich.

For some reason if you dont have a host at the Wynn comps are pretty stingy. Ive lost 1000's there on many occasions and all ive ever gotten is a 50 dollar comp for the coffee shop.
There are few bargains in Vegas, especially on the weekends when it comes to nightlife. If you have a group of guys Tao beach has some reasonable minimums and they attract a lot of 7-8's because the offer a open bar for girls for a few hours. Surrendur and EBC also is a place were you can get some good talent without breaking the bank. Im talking about spending 1800 for a group of 6 guys (around 300 each isnt horrible).
The EDM scene kinda killed the bang for the buck in vegas, these DJs cost a fortune to book and it get passed on to the consumer. If you want lower cost dont go to a place these has a big time DJ, but of course these big time DJs attract all the good talent.
If anyone needs some decent rates for a lot of second tier places I have some connections (Drais, tao, SLS, EBC. Etc...) Just PM for a quote.

This is the actual bottle service menu for Drai's - check out the bottom part. Repeat this 3-4 times (2 nightclubs + 1-2 day clubs) and you have an idea of what people mean by a "big baller weekend" in Vegas.



I've realized that even though I could possibly afford a weekend like this once in a while without going broke, there's no real reason to do this. There will always be somebody in the club who can outspend you, and it's simply not worth it to compete with them unless you truly have money to blow. In that case, go for it, but keep in mind that without tight game, the only girls you'll attract are bottle rats. I remember seeing a table full of guys that ordered 15 bottles of Dom P at Light ($15,000 total, at least). They had a ton of hot girls around them while the champagne was flowing. Once the champagne stopped flowing, the girls all left and the dudes were angrily looking at each other wondering what happened. I've seen a similar version of this happen many, many times. On the other hand, during my last visit to Omnia, a girl I met walked me into a table full of guys, each of whom had spent at least several hundred dollars and had no girls on them, while I spent $20 on a vodka/soda. I'm shocked none of the guys said anything to me. You know what's worse than leaving a Vegas club empty handed? Leaving the club empty handed and with $2,000 less in your bank account. That's the reason why we have this thread.

For one, there are ways to make it cheaper - Fisto posted some good advice on this in another thread, and former member Christian McQueen has info on this as well throughout the forum. Furthermore, if you have the bankroll and tight game, table service can help you bang some of the hottest girls in the entire world (many of whom may not have been available to you otherwise). But it doesn't guarantee anything, and it's questionable whether it even gives a good player a better chance. For most people, it just isn't worth it.

Too many guys with no game use bottle service as a crutch. When you get a table, you have to be aggressive as fuck to be able to take advantage of everything, the table should look like a revolving doors of girls. You take them over to your table, if you think they won't put out, you have them kick rocks and get some new girls in there. There's an UNLIMITED supply at the Tier 1 clubs, so you have to have a very low tolerance for their bullshit.

Most of the time when I get a table, I leave the table to hunt and gather, although usually my friends let girls drink all the liquor and I'm pretty pissed they let them do that. To be honest, there are times where there is only ONE guy at our table just there to guard it while everyone is out finding girls.

I guard those bottles like a hawk. If girls are dancing on your seat cushions and neither you nor your boys are not getting it in, you have a definite problem and you're getting juiced for your duckets.

Yeah you also have guys who just wantonly spend money. the girl in this picture was standing at the bar in Marquee Club for the Monday night party. She was pulling handfuls of money out of her bra. When I was in Vegas I absolutely loved it, but I was in my early 20s so spent nowhere near the amounts mentioned in this thread. 'balling' in Vegas seems like a colossal waste of money for all but the very very well off. Unless you're pulling in 500k+ a year you should not be dropping $1k on a night drinking. There are far cheaper ways to hook up with American girls - why do guys bother competing with rappers / athletes etc with money to burn, or else ghetto fabulous people willing to waste their money, for bottle rat girls?

Someone dropping 3k on a weekend in Vegas could spend 2 weeks in Asia, or Africa, or a week in South America, somewhere actually interesting for that money.

Holy shit I've been to Vegas a lot but didn't know the prices in the VIP tables were that high. Insane.

Meanwhile, you can get tables at some of the clubs here in Kiev for ~$30-50

I'm a big fan of XS and the huge layout so not suprised John Q had such a good night there. But like any Vegas night, it's hit or miss a lot.

Wondering what club offers the best value for tables these days - probably not the bigger clubs of course but what about secondary casinos?

I think XS probably does if you are at an outside table. If your group is relatively small you can probably get in with a relatively small minimum.

We inquired about dance floor tables at Omnia for the end of the month and they had a $10k minimum. I think outside on the upstairs patio were $2,000 minimum.

If I asked this before, I apologize. I will likely be traveling to LV for a couple of nights later this summer to visit some family and friends. But, I'm probably going to stay in a hotel so I can meet some women while I'm there. I'm going to try to pipeline instead of going out hunting. I'm considering staying downtown because there are some good bars near Freemont Street.

However, are some of the strip hotels good for meeting a date? I was wondering if there was a hotel with a good lounge-type bar with sofas that's not too far from the elevators. The downtown hotels all have bars of course, but I don't think any of them are sofa style.

On the second floor there are also restaurants like Chinopoblano, A Cafe and a Burger Place, Some places for venue changes, Chinopoblano has a great bar too.

Entrance to Marquee is on the 2nd floor too right across from Bar. Sit and Spit your game on girls entering and leaving.
