Any college dropouts here? I dropped out a year ago to get in the electrical field (electrician) and I disliked the college environment. So far, I'm in in two IBEW locals (Sacramento and San Jose) but for the former, work is slow and the latter, I didn't get along with the interviewers during my interview, and I got a low score. Trying out the non-Union route as the IBEW local in SF told me I can appeal their score ( I got an 87/100 and I needed a 95/100 to be in their pool for apprentice call-ups) if I get more electrical work experience.
