What do you think of this film?

It claims that the pill has destroyed women's ability to price fix the supply of sex and that it has also increased competition among them.

It concludes that because of a liberal supply of sex, men are the gatekeepers of the relationship supply. However, the film does not mention that many men avoid marriage because of the dire penalties involved with it should the former perfect woman wake up one morning 'not feeling it'. It also doesn't mention that in their prime, women are beginning to exceed men's notch counts.

With the 80/20 rule you also have to consider the relative status of the average man compared to the relative status of of the average woman

With feminism, male disenfranchisement, male thirst, celebrity/athlete/apex alpha worship, and supreme wealth worship, the old set of "checks and balances" that kept men and women on level playing fields is completely gone.

A decent looking young man making a solid low 6 figure income now has an absolute lower status than a decent looking young women. While this can be negated with good social ties, game and the like, one still needs to do more than in the past to lock down women. You see many men, sometimes even very good looking men, doing without.

This does not work with hypergamy. Men are no longer the gatekeepers of the relationship, because while the price of sex has declined in absolute terms, the "price" of a relationship with a "good man" has declined even further.

Women are exceedingly status conscious. It is ingrained with them that the average guy is of low status. Most women walk around these days with blinders on and if the situation keeps up, America will be very similar to Japan in that they have a birthing crisis. Women would rather just do without than "settle"

I think when the pill first came out it loosened up a lot of female morals. Once slutty behavior became normalized the pill didn't even matter anymore. That's why we have so many single mothers these days. Pregnancy is easily avoidable these days if females wanted to.

The younger ones are quick to abort to keep the party lifestyle going. It's the older ones you have to watch out for. They get the fuck it(This is my last chance to conceive) attitude. And guess who's left to pick up the check?

I hope you're wrong about men not even having a relationship gatekeeper role when there are so many women in their 30s desperately demanding one having kept their stocks beyond the peak of their market value to stay on the cock carousel for so long.

If a young man of marriageable years needs at least $100k per year salary when society is geared to both equality and female privilege, then things really are bad.

I noticed that hypergamy was not mentioned in the above film. Having dated women in their 30s recently, none have turned into second dates despite the first dates going well. I have seen no evidence of decreased pickiness of women in the final years of their fertility.

What % of the US population makes over 100k per year an individual? 5%-8%? The vast majority of those people will also be 40+.

I know quite a few people in their 20's who do.

However if you don't take the right path after high school (right college, major, etc) it's a long road and a bit of luck.

depends on the locale. outside of the major cities, it definitely skews much older. in the major metro areas though, 100k is not incredibly tough to hit by 30 in the right job sectors. in the Bay Area there are kids almost fresh out of college working in tech pulling down that kind of money, although these are obviously outliers.
