I am very old-fashioned. I hate text messaging and that was always my weak point.

Here is something that has improved my game significantly:

After meeting a girl on the weekend and getting her number, text her during work hours at the office. It is even better if you are in the middle of an important project with a deadline.

This forces you to just make quick responses and not overthink things, and your timing is naturally better because you are actually busy with something more important (your job and financial future is on the line). You'll sincerely forget about replying sometimes because you are so occupied, and it's natural, not just pretending to be alpha. Girls can sense it.

This is much better than sitting on the couch at home, overthinking things and waiting for responses.

This makes it more natural for you (a good thing) but what about her state of mind when she's receiving the texts? She is probably texting with some girlfriends and a couple beta orbiters during that time. Is your unconcerned state text game enough to overcome that? You said it was but I wonder if you could tell us a little more.

Or she could be relieved that he finally texted her,and be overjoyed at the fact that Poaster is opening the line of communication with her.

Unless your diet only consists of One Night Stands from dance clubs and bars, you're going to have to venture into long distance communication.

If Poaster has found something that works for him, where it previously didn't, he's leveled up. If he were to concern himself with all of the possible bad scenarios, the futility of it all, he'd be paralyzed by that analysis. Most men do nothing, and expect something.

Being negative pushes you towards inaction. Inaction, no bang
Being positive pushes you towards action. Action? Bang is possible

I'll admit it: I often get nervous before making the first text. A million things race through my mind. My solution: get a hard workout in before I text. You release a lot of nervous energy, are full of testosterone, and just feel better about yourself. My attitude on texting after a workout is: "I just lifted XX lbs, and I'm ripped, she is so lucky that I'm texting her."
