I wasn't planning on it, but in the spur of the moment I made my first cold approach in a long, long time. We talked for 5-10 min and got her number after inviting her to lunch (we were walking to our offices from a parking garage). Not much detail to go into, really... my game is not that good, haha.

I don't expect anything to come out of this, but I felt both liberated and awkward at the same time. It's a weird feeling to be back out there... kinda like learning how to walk again after being paralyzed for years.

Main thing is to not act so shocked at what I'm doing that I stumble on my own words!

Also could have spent a couple minutes less on work talk, and a couple minutes more on fun talk, and frame the #closing a bit differently ("let's meet for a drink" instead of "let's do lunch").

Will read Rational Male and Day Bang for some inner game and outer game ideas. Plenty of time and and plenty of opportunities for practice as I live in the 4th largest city in the US!
