I don't know man. LittleDark has a long standing tradition of calling up multiple girls....at the same time. He'll call up to 30 bitches from a variety of prepaid phones, place them all on speakerphone and have the same conversation with all the girls at once. But that really shouldn't be the focus here.

I'd say the majority of the time I call girls before first meeting. I think it helps build comfort, and it's also good to know if I can vibe with a girl and how her voice sounds before we meet. I'm talking off of online game here primarily though - girls I didn't first meet and talk to face to face. Even still I'll usually at least call a girl a little before first meeting up just to say I'll be running a few minutes late

Some girls have actually asked to talk on the phone to get to know me better. I think it also helps you feel more real to them if they've actually talked to you. Your no jut number and letters on a screen you are a human with a voice thoughts, and feelings.

Maybe it sounds selfish, but I'm glad phone game is no longer necessary and texting has taken over. I'm deaf so obviously that precludes phone calls, and that was a major source of frustration when I was in my 20s. Now I can do everything online and via text (other than learning day game). I'm thinking next time a girl tries calling me, I'll text back and tell her let's meet and talk in person.

I forgot about calling until a recent plate called ME before our first hangout (though we met in person). It was a prime opportunity to use my sexy bedroom voice and I could tell she was getting turned on. She was eager to meet once that call had taken place, and now we bang frequently and she still calls me a few times a week.

One idea for those who'd like to try a call but not come off 'bad': text ABOUT calling! "hey i'm gonna call you in a few min" or something, so she can mentally prepare. I bet this would work on a younger chick as well if you've already hooked up or have good rapport. Will try this soon.

I'm a fan of calling. Call me old school, but I think that calling takes more balls, is a tougher skill to master, and is more worthwhile in the long run. Learning to build rapport on the phone is an investment since it's tough in the beginning but you're working on something that will pay off over time. Texting takes skill but is much easier to master. Calling is tough because there's no pauses or time outs. You have to deal with a lot of dynamic variables that don't exist with texting, and you have to deal with them right then. The potential to succeed and to fuck up is greater.

With texting you can take your time, consult friends, read the forum and other sources, in order make sure that your response is a good one. With calling, you have no such luxuries.

In any event, I still often end up in text conversations with girls. A lot of the canned lines from the community are entertaining. She says that she "doesnt like to drink" and you respond with "water for u then". She gives some lame excuse about why she has to cancel on your date, with no counter offer, and you say "gay". She gets all dramatic and you respond with "are you auditioning for a soap opera?" Entertaining, if nothing else.

My good buddy (good looking frat guy at a major party school, regularly gets it in) swears by Facetiming and Facetiming only. He literally refuses to talk on the phone or text.

It puts you above the rest of the guys she's texting.

Fuck yes facetime is even better if you can do that, bitches love that shit like snapchat.

You can relay sarcasm WAY better via phone.

Would you rather talk to a girl over the phone and get some more quality ? (especially before a date)

To me calling a girl/having a girl call you is a no brainer.

ESPECIALLY if you're fluid in your game and can adapt easily while talking. I have a certain sarcastic confidence when I talk to a girl in most situation.

To me, texting can cripple my conversational skills when gaming in person.

I'll mix it up, don't get me wrong because I do text alot more than I call, however if the iron is hot, I'll always call those girls.

I can bet this works with college age girls, i have not used facetime once in my life, but get that it could work.

let me put it this way, if it works for you, fits your vibe, definitely use it. if it doesn't, you don't like it, cant get into it, then don't use facetime

I am naturally a dominant person but this dominance gets cut drastically on text just because of the very nature of it. Drastically.

The object of the game is to get her on the phone as soon as possible as far as I'm concerned. Every time I saw a girl again it was because I got her on the phone. It is very difficult if not impossible to build attraction over text but it's very easy to lose it.

Yup I'll co-sign onto this and also add that making a girl call you is even better than you calling her once you get the number.
