I sometimes like to take a girl to a place that is not a club per-se but it's usually a bar with some kind of dance floor. Sometimes the bar is upstairs and the dance floor is downstairs. I've found that once you dance with a girl, it increases chemistry. Once you start touching like that, it's game-on.

I'm wondering:

1) Is this a no-brainer part of Game that everyone knows about but I haven't seen online because it's so obvious (or because I'm new and haven't passed by it)

2) Is this not considered a key part of game because if she wanted to dance with you it means you've already sealed the deal?

3) Something else?

If you enjoy dancing and can do it well, it can become an invaluable avenue for your game.

And I wish I could expound on that more originally, but I'm afraid anything I say would just be parroting Samseau, whose Dance Floor Game writeup is simply the best on this subject. Definitely give it a full read; I think you'll find yourself in agreement.

My default first date plan is always to take a girl to salsa dancing "come, I'll show you how to dance salsa at the best bar in town, awesome dj and kickass lighting". Venue selection is key. Make sure you have the bar on lockdown, know the people, especially the DJs and the owner. Know exactly what's on the drinks menu too.

It's also critical that you dont let her goof off dancing with another guy during the night. Read the thread link above, it can give you a few pointers. But that thread is more about going to a dance place to game. If you are taking a girl to a dance place there's some adjustments to make.

Oh and no, if she wants to dance with you that doesn't mean jack shit. Lost count of how many girls who would queue up to dance with me just because I make them look good, and these attention whores don't wanna spread their legs.

If she wants to go on a date with you to dance, now that's a different story.

If things go smoothly, venue transfer to your place.

Depends on the girl, on you, and your culture/country.

Start with basics.

There are white girls who can't dance, and won't. (don't try to dance with these chicks)
White girls who cant' dance, but can be coaxed into it (do try)
White girls who can't dance to save their lives, but think they can. (dance with them, but you'll have to correct them to get them on beat and looking good)

White girls who think "grinding" is dancing. (annoying as fuck)

Asian, Middle Eastern, and Indian girls often fit into the white girl categories.
Europeans and FOB's typically can't dance, but usually fit into the white girl categories.

Latin nationals typically can.

Then there are the white girls who watch youtube and do choreographed shit, or come from "tap and ballet backgrounds". They can "dance", but they're typically too stiff and regimented. This includes broads who do Country and Western, Swing, Ball Room, and all of those "I go to a class to learn how to do it"

It's much more of a battle to get these bitches to follow you.

And then there are white girls who actually know how to dance. A small minority, believe me.

Latinas and Black women, on average can dance.

So white guys who can dance, get a bonus. Black and Latino dudes who can dance get nothing, as it's expected. And if dude isn't a better dancer than her, just being able to dance might even be a loss.

But the problem there is that some of them broads take that shit to the next level.

White girls get extra strippery. (and they love to do that lesbian shit too)
Black women turn into twerk monsters.
Latinas turn shit into the last night before the revolution, salsa'ing, cumbia'ing, bachata'ing like tomorrow is gonna be the first day of Communism.

You have it right. If you can dance, and she's willing, the closeness and kino goes off the charts and makes the rest easy.

HOWEVER, girls that can really dance rarely are overcome by this.

Ask any black dude that goes to black clubs.
You can wear a bitch out for 48 minutes straight, and she'll throw up the deuce and walk out with her friends.

In terms of dating
- never take a pro to her spot. always take her to someplace new
- take a newb dancer to exotic shit, she'll stick by your side
- go to regular dance clubs solo

And if you want to learn Salsa, thinking you can bang some of your fellow salseras in class or at the club, keep dreaming.

Depends on the culture... In Canada guys don't really dance, in France, everyone likes to dance rock and swing..doesn't mean you will bang the girl but at least you get closer to her and she's having fun.

WIA is killing it again.

Should've pointed out that all the girls I've banged through danced, which are not many, are either very beginner or have never danced before.

I invent the term Salslut to talk about salsa sluts who will sexy dance and get her hands all over any guy who can dance with her to get attention and look sexy, but will never ever spread her legs for those dance partners.

Your best bet is to learn to dance and take a girl who cannot dance but would like to try.

Dance game is a big part of my modus operandi.

That's because I can't hear a fricken thing anyone says at many clubs, over the sound of the music.

But I do like to dance. And I don't mind meeting women while doing so.

Therefore, I look for a club that fits the following requirements.

*A good number of girls, who come onto the dance floor, either with female friends or alone.
*A small stage that guests are permitted to dance on if they wish.

I show up at the dance floor and take it in. Maybe I slowly finish off a beer.

Then I start to stretch out, slowly.

People start to wonder why I'm stretching out.

Once a good beat comes on, I finish stretching and start breaking it down.

People begin to come to terms with why I need to stretch out before I dance.

When I observe a good ratio in the crowd, I move to the stage area and make myself the center of attention. It's not unusual for the dancers on the dance floor to start to follow my lead, such as if I put my hands in the air or start jumping up and down. Social proof, bitches.

Usually, some girls will start to record my sweet dance moves on their phones.

Then I begin to scan the crowd, looking for the girls who are willing make and retain eye contact with me. Those are the DTF girls.

I begin to flirt with these women from a distance and eventually approach them or pull them up on the stage with me if they seem comfortable with that.

My goal is to be seen dancing confidently with a bunch of attractive girls, even if they disengage. If I don't get consistent green lights from a girl (dancing closer and closer, asking my name, etc), I'll disengage and move onto the next girl.

As such, I'm seen by all the other women on the dance floor as a guy who is good with women, the center of attention, but not clingy.

It's usually only a matter of time before some completely DTF girl shows up (without her friends), dancing near me, with her back facing me.

At that points, its a simple matter of tapping her on the shoulder, taking her hand and executing a "spin move" to test compliance and then bringing her in closer for some real club dancing.

If this all does well, conversation is meaningless. You've got a sexually charged, DTF chick on your hands. Usually, its a decent idea to go for the make-out before you ever say a word to her.



Also, I totally endorse taking a girl who doesn't know how to dance to a Salsa club, provided that you know you can make her look good based on your skills alone. It's a panty stripper if there ever was one, although, it won't do all the work for you. You'll still have to get her back to your pad, which might be tough if she's "tired from dancing."

I wrote a little bit of this in my last post here where a guy thought he got "AMOG'ed" on the dance floor:

1. Dancing can be an accelerator. If you've got the girl warmed up (alcohol or just energy up) dancing with her can help turn her on and accelerate intimacy. You can also fuck up dancing with a girl by tiring her out, getting her too focused on dancing (and not on you), or by not being a good leader/dancer (which can turn her off).

2. Most girls like to dance and let their hair down even if they're not that good at it, it can be an emotional and physical rollercoaster for them with you at the controls. Anytime you can give a girl an amazing experience and draw her into the world you created it will be a good thing. They enjoy being led by a strong/confident guy.

3. I'm not a good dancer, but I am good enough. Most of the women I date love to dance with me and while others may think it's "gay" once in a while I'll go out with a group of all females or mostly female friends to just go out and dance. I have a great time, burn some calories, and enjoy the various female forms and their dance moves. I've had women eye me up and down wondering just who the fuck I am with all these girls around me. I've been that guy grinding on the girl you thought you had a chance with but I could tell you didn't and provided her an out.

For Salsa clubs, I really can't stand that cultural norm with them. They switch up damn near every song causing confusion as to who belongs to/came with who. They may dance with you for a song or two then tell you "gracias," then return to their friends. When you spit game, they always have a "novio." They don't chill at the bar and order drinks. If they're not dancing then they're seated with their social circle. They don't twerk and look around luring a man to come dance. Yes, they wear high heels and nice dresses but nevertheless, it still sucks, at least in America.

Has always been part of courtship in every culture. It is what got Britney Spears attracted to K Fed. I asked a white girl who only dates black guys why she did so. She told me it is because they can dance.

Social dance events have certain protocols. It's rude to dance with the same person for more than two songs running and if you dance with a girl as much as a third time, it should be because she wants to dance and every other guy happens to be taken at the moment.

These are not pickup events. They are for people who enjoy dancing and getting to dance with a bunch of different people is have the fun.

In the US at least, dance communities tend to be somewhat tightknit and people know each other. It's a great opportunity to be social, it's not a good opportunity to try to take girls home.

That being said, sometimes you do make a special connection and things go somewhere.

With all the clubs out there where dance is pure sexuality, is it wrong for people to engage in a style of dance that is (despite being somewhat sexual naturally) about having fun, meeting people and making friends while getting a damn good exercise in the process?

I'm all for American women moving their fat asses, even if I don't happen to get laid because of the circumstances that are preventing them from becoming fat chunks of lard.

dancing with girls is a point of confusion I have had for a long time. It wasn't for many years that I realized that dancing is about one thing, making the girl feel sexy about herself. If you dance well in front of a girl, with awesome moves, you should go find a guy at the end of the night and let him bang you, because you probably made the girl feel insecure about her self. Good job, hobo. But if you are with a girl and focusing on her, letting her do all the work, she will get wet, because that's every girl's fantasy. Then you can fuck her. From personal experience, this is very true with girls who are not professional dancers or that great.

There's some truth to this.

Sometimes I ask a girl to dance and run into some pros. These bitches would blatantly ignore my lead and goof off during music's climaxes and do some impressive shit of their own. I find it extremely annoying and arrogant and most of the time I leave as soon as they do that, even if it's considered rude.

So the same would hold true for girls. She is not impressed with your dancing skills. She MIGHT be impressed with the social proof you get from your dancing skills. In fact girls actually don't give a fuck about your Chevrolet or 600K income job, she loves the status that such stuff give you.

You gotta make her feel like she's also contributing to the dance and that you two have great physical chemistry.

I personally would never take a girl to a dance bar on a first date, simply because of conversational purposes.

If you know to salsa or anything like that than good on ya, Iv never taken a girl salsa dancing so I cant comment.

However, I will say this:

-Dancing definitely encourages touching and is a good way to get comfortable without you saying much

- If you know how to dance decently, meaning you know a couple solid moves that make you look like you know what you are doing then it can forsure be to your advantage

-It will lead to a make out quicker than anything else, but not to the bedroom, from my own experiences.

I cant tell you how many times Iv gone out to a dance bar, made out with 4-6 girls in a night, grinding the fuck out of them, but not one would come home with me. I find its sort of " what happens in the bar, stays in the bar" sort of attitude I get from these brods, but then again it could also be my city.

Bottom line, most of my notches, whether they were ONS's or first date, they all had alot of verbal communication going on before I got them in the sack.

Hmm, most of this thread is somewhat negative on the idea of meeting girls in the Salsa scene, but here goes...

I'd like to hear some pointers from you guys who have pulled numbers or taken girls home from Salsa dances. I've been into Salsa for about 5 months now, getting up close to intermediate level. I try to get out at least once if not 2-3 times a week plus my weekly Salsa class. I've gotten a few IOIs from some of the younger/newer girls to the scene. I'm a good looking guy, dress sharp and can at least impress the newbies with my current arsenal of moves.

How do you isolate/close these girls at dance clubs/socials? A few times I've had a dance with a girl who clearly liked me and was flattered that I asked her to dance, I chat her a little, introduce ourselves, then maybe later at the end of the night i come over just to say good-bye, encourage them to come out again. Often, they're attached to a girlfriend/group of friends so it's tough to isolate. It's tough to create a verbal rapport, especially if the club is noisy.

How do you isolate/close these girls? I assume Salsa game eventually becomes just like Night game?

Also, I've considered another strategy where I might just go to dances, dance with some girls, then just hang out and cruise the sidelines looking for girls to approach/talk to and work a little rapport in there, ask them for a dance, then go back to the side and go for the kill.

JJG is Missing In Action for now As for me I'm busting my ball trying to game 6 chicks from dance, but I can assure you, getting number and isolating is the least you have to worry about. The drama, flaking and false IOI are the worst.

Salsa game is NOT night game! If anything is more daygame with a night vibe. Be careful because, even if you live in a big city (I'm in Paris) the salsa crowd know each other and they will talk. Not too much to worry about but you want to avoid anything too overt.

The really bright side of salsa game is that the quality is way up high. All salsa girls I've gone out with are solid 7-8s. Recently I went on a salsa date with a Georgian model too. If your game is solid there's no better hobby to game high quality girls than salsa, barring yoga but that's fucking gay. Salsa game has a very long learning curve but the patient ones get rewarded. Look at WIA

I think the only thing I might add
- as a Gringo, salsa is a killer app on gringas
- Being able to Salsa in Latin America, makes you acceptable. Not being able to, puts you out of the running. There's a no way in hell that you're going to compete with natives. You're not outdancing a guy that learned from his abuelita at age 7, and has been doing it with experienced partners for decades, on top of knowing what the songs are and what they mean to the culture.

Finally, If you think a few months of learning to Salsa means you can start going to Latin clubs in America and bang Latin chicks - you'll be wasting your time. Believe me, this was my plan.

That Latin chick @ the discoteca is actually more open to you when she's not surrounded by her people and her culture.

I have had no considerable issues chatting up a Latina @ IHOP as compared to "International Night"
