Hmm, going through the postings here, I guess the bullet or sudden death is the best option.

I am a physician and work often in palliative care situations. The very end stages, with perfect palliation can be ok. I think more often than not, the process involves a lot of physical and emotional pain and distress - the diagnostic path is rarely a straightforward one, and palliation is rarely a perfect. Being able to say your goodbyes is nice but the loss of agency and the degradation that can come towards the end of life when you need suctioning of oropharyngeal secretions, help feeding, help with hygiene, constant pain. For think most loved ones would trade their chance to say goodbye for knowledge that their sick relative or friend passed painlessly.

Basically sudden, peaceful death >>>>> any other type. After that, probably physician assisted dying. I've seen peaceful and relatively painless cancer deaths, but they're rare relative to the total body of evidence.
