So I'm hitting Shanghai next week and then after that Beijing. From what I've read I should not get my hopes up. It doesn't sound like there is a Club 99, like in Tokyo, where local chicks go if they have a fetish for darker skinned dudes.

Anyone know of any places, possibly hip hop places, where Chinese girls go to meet darker skinned dudes? I imagine there are a decent number of Africans and South Asians in China, so they must hang out somewhere?

Alternatively, I like hitting on white expats chicks and I know there are a ton of English teachers in China, so what are the places white chicks hang out at in Shanghai and Beijing? I find that white expat chicks in Asia need attention because they hate the local dudes and the white expat guys are too busy banging Asian chicks.

Your theory on expat girls in China is correct. I knew an African dude that slayed white tail in China. Check out That's Shanghai and That's Beijing for a list of bars. Go wherever there are cheap drinks and u'll find the expat teacher crowd.

For whatever reason when I was in Beijing summer '09, I rarely saw any black dudes during the day or at night.. but the few that I did see were doing pretty well at Vic's (which was more for expats I believe) and I gamed an ethiopian chick (basically the only girl in there who knew how to dance well.. chinese girls aren't the best dancers honestly) at Mix (more chinese).. either way both clubs are right next to each other and seem to be expat friendly, try there! Also keep an open mind about the way some chinese treat you there as a black man, often you don't notice it but there are really racist and just sad people who look down upon darker skinned people over there, if you encounter any of those idiots don't take it to heart because for every idiot there are like 10 people who will be genuinely interested to meet you..

when you say "white expats" what kind of demographic are you referring to? i would imagine most would be late 20s / early 30s - correct?
