Is there any hope for me? I go to bars and clubs, but i kinda feel like im beating a dead horse approaching girls, i rarely approach now. Sometimes i get IOI's but for some reason im always to afraid to escalate or I say something very stupid that kills the attraction. I want to change since i feel like its now or never, i mean im only going to get older and worse looking. Thats another sticking point i have, i am self conscious about my looks!! i dont know how to get over that.

start with the gym and a hobby or volunteer pursuit that puts you in contact with other people. These will be 'practice' settings to work on your self confidence. Do that first, then worry about girls.

Dude, I think you shouldn't give up. You just need to get get into pick up. I myself have subscribe to different pick up coach and I am amping myself to ask a girl out soon.

It seems you don't like your looks.
Go hit the gym / Practice a martial art and you'll feel better about yourself.
I didn't get if you still were a virgin, but go see a professionnal slut if this blocks you.
First time isn't great anyway.
